Refuses to do anything. Wont return calls. Office phone is rarely answered. Six months later and $3000 and he's done absolutely nothing. Im just a mushroom in the dark and I don't even get the BS. Be careful

Well, Attorney Carey was a court appointed attorney for my husband. We paid him 1500.00 cash per his request. Then he also billed the courts so now we are having to pay the attorney portion to the county to pay them back for them paying him.
I have called him, brought the court information and I still have the receipt! He refuses to respond to my multiple calls. So, I have no choice but to turn him in to the board that regulates Attorneys in Texas!
I would stay clear of his as he doesn’t do business honestly!

He took 1500.00 in cash to represent my husband. Then he got home self court appointed. The state paid him too. Now we have to pay it back! He refuses to talk or even have someone for his office respond to me! I have provided him a copy of the receipt, all court documents! He owes me my 1500.00 cash refund. I am reporting him to the board . Do not ever use him! You will be sorry!!!

Darrell talks a big game, but that's all it is. When it comes time to actually battle for you he's like a whipped puppy with his tail between his legs. Near impossible to get him on the phone or to return your call. Forgetful and lazy.
He's good with real estate law, but should stick to that.

Wonderful attorney that always gets the job done! I don’t know what nick down there is talking about! He knows the law and and will defend you the best he can! Highly recommend him. Also he knows everyone in Randall county. Think about it.

Only gets one star because there's no zero. Didn't even try to fight for me, took the first deal the DA gave him, lazy pos. Had no interest in me or my trial. Screw this dude, you'd be better off defending yourself.
