First of all, you need to understand the kind of Insurance you had issue with, you can get manipulated by this lawyers to accept settlement that don’t even make no sense, my wife still suffering from the pain due to the accident, every night can’t sleep. Sometime you even believe, behind the scene that they make deal with the insurance company to talk you in accepting what is not right. How I wish your eyes can be open to see what is been done wrongly. How can you have an accident that the doctor recommended you to continue treatment and lawyer is telling you NO, that there is gap and we should accept $4,000 out of a possible $30000 settlement to go get an insurance to continue treatment. Before the money got to our hands debts incurred during the accident period took everything, Is that not suspicious for God sake? Now am battling the pain bcus can’t even get good insurance that will cover such treatment. Still going to get another lawyer to pursue this case further.

I'm a firefighter with over 30 years' service. I was returning home from work when I was broadsided by a car that ran a stop sign at considerable speed. The collision knocked my 4000 lb. + van 30' laterally and 50' further down the road. The injuries to my neck and spine put me on a cane and made my right arm unreliable. Liberty Mutual was pretty quick to compensate me for the older van and included a premium for the expensive maintenance and improvements. I assumed at that point I would be able to work with them. After more than three years without missing a day due to sickness or injury, I couldn't safely drive and the multiple procedures and cervical fusion required a lot of time off for recovery, convalescence and therapy. I documented everything including my out of pocket and time loss. LiMu delayed any consideration of settlement until a month before the two year statute of limitations and wrote, "..if you provide all medical records [Meaning everything, not just related to accident - added] we will see what we can do." At that point, my suspicion of their running out the statute was confirmed and I knew that they wouldn't pay out...ever. My legal referral provider recommended Hudson Law Firm. My initial interview was with their paralegal Samantha "Sam" Nichols. She listened carefully, was sympathetic but not patronizing and took all of my documentation. Unlike "tough, smart, hammers" you see on TV, they're careful in reviewing your case before promising to take it on. There agreement was in my inbox the following day. Aaron Conrardy was the attorney that took on my case. Nothing would put me off faster than someone blowing smoke and building false expectations. Aaron's knowledge, experience and candor were encouraging. He was very knowledgeable and his instincts were spot on. He walked me through the case ensuring I was informed and advising if there was anything I could, needed to provide. Too months from our trial date we entered into mediation. Aaron was very frank about the expectations and knew exactly how it was going to proceed. The expectation was, realistically, not to settle but to see where LiMu was and whether we'd need to go ahead with a trial. The one overarching thing about the entire firm and Aaron in particular was, while providing sound advice, was their willingness to proceed however I decided. I can't overstate what it means to know that they've got your back. Aaron's documentation he brought with him was amazingly in depth but very organized. He quickly provided select data to the mediator when he would come in with their offers. It quickly brought them to a point that was close enough that when they asked for a final figure to settle. Aaron was very frank in weighing the odds of what a trial would likely provide as well as the outlying possibilities. At that point he was quick to say that we could leave right then and get ready for trial; again it was MY call. That attitude of readiness and service to their client, even if it was against THEIR best interest, proves out their slogan "Personal, personal injury." We set an amount that (approximately 5 times what I originally offered to settle), even after contingency and costs, would come close to covering my time off and some of the out of pocket. LiMu accepted and we were done with the case. But Hudson Law and Aaron weren't done fighting for me. You see, since I am covered under Federal insurance, they were demanding a huge amount in recovery costs. At Hudson Law Firm's own expense and Aaron's time, he fought and eventually convinced them to significantly reduce that amount. The check I received was considerably larger than what I expected. A few things I learned from this. First, don't mess around. Any hiccup from insurance should tell you to get an attorney. I learned I will never carry Liberty Mutual insurance. I learned that if, God forbid, I or a family member is injured; we're retaining Hudson Law.

First, I would like to start off by saying that Joel Hudson by far exceeded my expectations while he was representing me during my personal injury. Months ago I was in a car accident that was not my fault, and I was unable to work for a while. Mr. Hudson went so far out of his way to show me that he cares for his clients that he actually drove to my house to meet with me about my accident because I had no way of driving to his office. I have had attorneys in the past and most of them seemed to be way too busy and treated me as just another client. Mr. Hudson was much different though; he truly cares about his clients. He made sure that he met my needs and did everything to take the stress and hassle away from me while I was dealing with my personal injury case. He always stayed on top of everything and always called me when he got new information about the case. Mr. Hudson's legal assistant was very caring and helpful as well. I also ended up getting much more money for my personal injury claim than I expected! Hudson Law Firm did a fantastic job handling my personal injury and I strongly recommend hiring him if you are injured in a car accident. I will surely be using him again if I am ever in another accident.
