My husband and I went to The Law Offices of Joshua P. Murray to start the adoption process with one of their lawyers, Katy Lovett. I just wanted to let anyone know who is looking for a respectable and reputable firm, this is it. It was refreshing that this firm is highly respected by the judicial system in this area. We had so much confidence and ease throughout the whole process knowing our lawyer was respected and her opinion and knowledge carried weight with the judges. We were impressed with how quickly and easily everything moved along. After we left the office the first day, we received an email from Ms. Lovett within a few hours that she already had set up meetings with people we needed to connect with and had paper work together. Everything we needed to be aware of was discussed the first day we walked in and it was shared on a personable level that was not intimidating or hard to understand. Every email, call or meeting from there on out was prompt and easy. We literally did not worry about a single thing. Seems crazy but everything was made to be such an effortless process with no headaches, hang ups or confusion. We were catered to throughout the whole process and felt heard. We never felt like we were just another person or we were dollar signs waiting to be cashed in. It was actually a pleasant experience the whole way through.

Mr Murray is a very intelligent, well educated in law, and experienced in Texas legal family matters. He is helpful, and has a plan for every twist and turn of my complicated case. He handled all of my matters very professionally, and was honest with his information to make sure that I protected myself. The case against me makes me sound like an absolute monster, and he gave me real advice, not his opinion or what I wanted to hear. I feel confident moving forward in my proceedings, and I will definitely utilize Mr. Murray in the future and would hightly recommend his service.

I would not trust Josh Murray where sound judgement is required. My three children have been lastingly harmed by his involvement in our case. After my kids had lived with me happily for 9 years -- my ex absent from their lives and 4 years behind in support -- she sued for custody. Mr. Murray was hired as an amicus attorney to make a recommendation. We had four other mental health practitioners, experts in high-conflict cases, work with my children who said that they needed to be protected from their mom’s emotional abuse and manipulations. Mr. Murray spent all of two hours talking to me and then said that that my children should be transferred to my ex. My ex later dropped the bombshell that our first child was not mine, yet Mr. Murray tried to force me to pay her attorney’s fees. At our last hearing, the judge found that my ex had been alienating the children against me. Mr. Murray had no clue, and the damage had already been done. No scruples. No judgement. No attorney.

I have worked for Josh as a Private Investigator. Josh does an excellent job advocating and representing his clients. Josh is in a league of his own when it comes to representing his family law clients. When I went through my own divorce I turned to Josh and I was completely satisfied with him and his excellent staff with their service in my case.
