Stephanie Hon is a God-send. She recently helped dear friends of mine with their estate planning. They own a business and the gentleman is having some major health issues. Stephanie went in-person to their home to help them create an estate plan. They both said that they were extremely pleased. That Stephanie is a delight to work with and that she knows her stuff! They both thanked me for introducing them to Stephanie and I could not be more grateful for how she took great care of friends in their time of need.

My wife and I just finished estate planning with Stephanie and we couldn’t recommend a better person for the Job! She explained our options in terms we understood (Did you know a trust is like a shopping cart?) and helped us figure out our needs and create a custom plan to meet them. We have 2 grown daughters and she is helping them make a simplified plan for themselves too. We hadn't thought about them needing it even in their 20's without kids of their own, but Stephanie pointed out that once they're over 18 we can no longer automatically as their parents make medical decisions or even see their medical records without permission in place. She was also quick in getting things set up and kept us moving along without being pushy when she needed things from us. My parents are also trying to get their estate plan re-done using someone else and they started before us but haven't even completed the initial step. I wish they'd gone to Stephanie!

So, I decided to do a bit of investigation. I checked into her law school, her education, her work history, and for any problems associated with her career. Her college and education were superb, she had a stellar work history, and there were no problems. Stephanie Hon made it so easy for us. We met and accomplished our goals online, never having to leave our home. Along the way we were advised of things we had never thought of, and she took care of those things to protect us and made sure our wishes would be followed. Some people think that estate planning is simple to do. Let me tell you, it is not. There are many things that could throw a wrench into your plans should you use an attorney that is not up to date or as thorough as Stephanie Hon. We went to her office for the signing, and she had two witnesses there for us. We did not have to seek out our own. Stephanie Hon made it easy for us. If you want your life to be a bit simpler so you have time to enjoy it, pick someone who can do that for you. That person is Stephanie Hon.

My husband and I recently used the Law Offices of Stephanie D. Hon to help put together an estate plan for our family. This has been on our to-do list since the birth of our first child, six years ago, however we never could seem to find the time to figure out how to get started. Stephanie made it easy and had an initial consultation with us to walk through our options. Once we made our decisions, Stephanie did the rest. I kid you not, it was that easy. I cannot tell you the relief that we felt signing the documents, knowing that we had a plan in place and that our children would be taken care of should something happen to us. We recently hired Stephanie to help us with our Estate Planning, as we have never done this before and well, it was time. She was very patient and thorough in helping us understand all of our options. She explained everything so that it was digestible for someone who doesn't have a lot of knowledge in this specific area. She was always available to answer any questions we had during the process and provided top notch service. The final product was very well executed and my husband and I are now able to sleep a little better at night knowing that Stephanie has taken great care of us and our estate!

I hired Stephanie for divorce proceedings. She talked a decent game initially, showed concern and empathy - text book lawyer stuff. When it came time to sign the retainer contract there was tons of hidden fees and causes. Desperate for help, I went against my better judgement and hired her, but only after she edited some of the absurd clauses in our agreement. She was not punctual on more than a few occasions for court and would send her paralegal sometimes in her place to calm the storm. In my opinion she really takes advantage of her lone assistant who does her best but is not exactly competent. When things begun to go south with this attorney and I, it seemed only appropriate that Stephanie sent me a bill with $50 email charges. Thats $50 per email! Her work and knowledge is below mediocre when it comes to the areas of family law. She cuts corners religiously and comes across more as a used car salesmen than a family attorney that happens to be a women. I recomend anyone interested in seeking her council to do your research in detail when it comes to any work done through this attorney. You have indeed been warned in advance!
