I'm writing this review on my own accord Not because I was asked to but because I feel it's necessary for people to find a good attorney or stay away from bad ones. God knows my family and I have experienced both but as for this one ( Doug ), I can't say enough about him or the results he gets. Mind you, he's super busy and it was frustrating at times, but regardless, he took care of the case and got better results than I feel any attorney could have possibly gotten. He was thorough, his price was fair, he's super professional and he knows Texas law in and out. It's important to know however, that in Montgomery County, it's as much as who you know as what you know. Doug is very connected in what I consider one of the toughest counties in the state, if not the country. One where the good ole' boy and wild west reputations definitely do exist. Trust me, I've seen and heard horror stories about MANY of the lawyers and law enforcement. So God forbid you get arrested or if you have charges against you, especially in Montgomery County, this is your guy. He's the one you want when it comes to defending you and getting the best possible results.

After trying to get an occupational license with several prior attorney's i reached out to Silvia to see if they could help. Within a week i was approved and now have my license. Not only was she very prompt with her work she also walked me through everything i needed to do on my end to help the process. Hopefully i never need another attorney but if i do they will definitely be the one to call. Highly recommend.

Doug is the big brother that I never had. I was in a very difficult situation, facing a legal system that is not familiar to me, as I was born and raised in a different country. The issue I faced was extreme and career ending and would have ended my life as I know it now. I fell apart during this biggest trial of my life, coming close to taking my own life twice. I genuinely did not see a way out of this legal situation. Doug was there as a big brother who helped me, and my wife navigate the intricacies of the legal system and provided us personal advice which saved both our lives as we know them now, as well as our marriage. He spent countless hours listening to our concerns and fears and treated us with respect, believing in us and his skills, and continuously responding to my concerns with actions that improved my case outcome. He also invested a lot of his time sharing his personal experiences, which helped me to grow my character to overcome this trial. The outcome was an absolute dismissal of the case. I am forever grateful to you, Doug, for your time and coaching. Shannon is another angel in that office. Her expertise and patience are unparalleled. She makes things happen and she is composed and level-headed. It is the team that you can have on your side. No matter what the issue is, know that they will have your best interest in their hearts.

Douglas Atkinson was amazing! There are not enough stars to award him with in the reviews. He fought harder for my husband, for our family, harder than I ever imagined anyone would. He fought and never backed down. The challenges that were thrown in our direction he threw them right back and prevailed. I cannot thank him and his team enough for all of the hours put in to this case that was prepared for for almost three years. This was a very challenging case but that did not stop the determination and fight that he gave for my husband and for our family to be able to leave together. Being up against the wall and backed into a corner feeling hopeless until this man and his team of professionals were recommended to me by a few acquaintances. All saying, "I'm crazy if I have anyone else represent me!" That they had hired and or someone they knew hired Mr. Doug Atkinson and were very happy with their outcome. I was in my opinion falsely arrested, and I went to Doug for help. The process took while because of Covid, but my name was cleared and my record expunged. All due to Doug’s hard work and his team worked together to help me. He is easy to reach and talk to, and made himself available when I had questions and concerns. I recommend him and would use him again. (But let’s hope that is never necessary again)

The firm was Truly diligent and Silvia Flores along with her team helped me out. The case was a complete mistake and they were able to dismiss it.
