Before hiring Terri Mendez, I had attempted to work with three other lawyers. Two didn't believe me and one didn't seem to care other than getting his check. Terri understood from the get-go that my case was unique and she will probably tell you, one of the craziest cases she has ever worked on. That being said, Terri knew my concerns were real. She got to where she knew all of the facts as good as I did, and believe me, there were a lot of facts the other side would try to mix up and twist around to cause confusion. Terri was on top of it the entire way. It took a LOT of homework for her and her staff to master this case, to know it inside and out, and their diligence paid off with a ruling in my favor. I wish I could say truth always wins in court. With my experiences, I see it takes even more than truth, now. It takes an expert like Terri to navigate the court system and rules, but it takes a lawyer with a heart and who really cares to successfully expose the truth when others are trying to hide it. I recommend Terri and her staff to anyone in need of family legal assistance and personally rate them 100 stars.

I was seeking a modification to a current agreement which I knew going in was difficult and extremely contentious. My ex has kept me in and out of court, flooded every attorney I have had with paperwork and hearings after hearings. As a Mother knew was in the best interests of my child that I pursue a modification this time. I met with Terri, Amanda and their team, explained my situation and they made me very comfortable in pursuing my modification as well as informing me this was going to be a difficult case. The case ended up going to trial after almost 9 months, 3 mediations and a temporary orders hearing. At the end of the case Terri and Amanda were able to obtain an excellent result. This team is the dynamic duo. They spend numerous amounts of time together, therefore, know what is going on with each and every one of there cases as they are constantly updating each other. Their motto is about communication and they have the best from any "service" business, especially a law firm, that I have seen. Throughout the entire process I always knew she had the best interests of my child in mind and that she truly felt for what I was going through. This whole team really understood the emotional toll these cases take and always were very comforting. They were always honest with me and we're on top of things. They had no issue explaining to me how difficult this was going to be. Terri never pressured me into any situation and it was always my decision on how to proceeed. Furthermore, they were always extremely prepared with the information I gave to them which was a ton since I had been in and out of Court so much in the past. They were so prepared that I would hear other attorneys commend them on the prepared documents and the Judge during trial seemed very impressed. I would highly recommend Terri Mendez and this team to anyone and I will use this team for any legal services that I will ever need.

The firm was excellent, they provided me with all outcomes and researched several options for me. The visit was great and they did not treat me like just another case and followed up with me promptly with information. I would recommend them in a heart beat. It was a good visit in a time of stress and they helped and calmed me down, very personable, courteous and passionate about the case.

I would recommend Terri Mendez to anyone looking for a great lawyer! I needed legal representation for what i knew would be a VERY contentious divorce. From the beginning, Terri was very clear and thorough about what I was going to encounter. She immediately brought clarity to a very stressful situation and she did an excellent job countering all moves brought on by the opposing attorney. During temporary trial, she stood strong and I won split/joint custody of my kids. Not only is she professional, but at the same time she is very personable, she listens to you and makes you feel as if you aren't just another client or paycheck. I also appreciated her assistant Amanda being completely knowledgeable of my situation and able to help and guide me also. They make a great team and since I don't plan on getting a divorce again the best way to show my appreciation is to share this experience and help someone else going through what I did.
