Most people don't understand that if you have an accident of any kind and there are insurance companies involved, it can be a very slow process in getting a settlement. This is not the fault of the attorney that represents your case. There are legal issues in distributing monies that belong to a client that the attorney has to dot every i and cross every t in order to release these monies to their client. As to getting up to date information, sometimes there isn't anything to update as the wheels of justice do move rather slowly at times.
