I hired Nick Rothschild for my custody modification. My custody orders were not well written in my divorce order and I needed to get them corrected. I met with Nick and instantly liked him, something I needed considering he'd be the advocate for my child. He guided me in steps to take as we got started and was always available when I had questions, whether by phone or email. I was a little out of sorts dealing with my ex and Nick was always there to tell it to me straight and keep me level headed. He knows the law and knows what will and won't make it through court, whether on your side or opposing. He advised me on what to do on my own to help alleviate some costs. He also wasn't charging for petty little things and only did what was absolutely necessary. I needed someone relatable and he was just that. He is knowledgeable, personable, confident, assertive, resourceful and compassionate. I went through numerous court hearings, testified, dealt with an extremely difficult ex, and my case ultimately ended in a jury trial (my ex's doing) and Nick was FANTASTIC through every single meeting and hearing. It was a very long 3 years, but with Nick as my attorney, he alleviated a lot of my stress and worries! A year later, I hired him to re-write my custody orders for residence changes and he was attentive and got it signed/filed rather quick. I hope I will not need legal representation for family court again, but if I do, I would most definitely hire Nick Rothschild again.
