I consulted this lawyer, Stacy Dunlop, via phone regarding a family legal matter. I then provided my credit card and paid him $1,500 for a retainer and to represent me. Later that same day I shared the advice and his strategy with two other lawyers. Both said they felt his approach was wrong and flawed in several ways. I called Dunlop back that same day to and made him aware that I would not be using him. and asked for a refund. I also emailed him informing and requesting the same. I have followed up several times within the last seven months without any response. Hindsight is twenty twenty and I wish that I would have done a little more research. I moved too fast in retaining him. I believe I acted in this way because I was eager to resolve the family matter that he was to represent me in. If I would have done my research on him I would have quickly found out what kind of reviews he has from previous clients. I urge anyone who is considering doing business with him to check out his online reviews. When you call his published number you will be calling a voicemail to a cell phone. You will never get an answer on this line. I would urge anyone who needs an attorney to stay away from Stacy Dunlop. Should you decide to use his services please do not give him any money in advanced for retainer or promised work!!!

Seriously don't use this guy. We have been asking for months for the police report and evidence against my husband and NOTHING. He won't communicate he knew what we were asking beforw we paid him. If he couldn't do it he should have told us that and saved us 250 dollars. Now we have to hire someone else and his greedy lazy behind only wants to give half of it back like he did anything productive for my husbands case. Really don't suggest him. We are hiring Dewayne Corbett. I haven't even paid him yet and we finally after 3 months have heard the police report. If you read these reviews please please please take these under consideration. I didn't and now we are paying for it. Good to anyone that does hire this man. Also another warning he is the ONLY attorney in the office and he way way over books everyone. So if you have him no show on you or not call you back that's why. He is also very rude. He tried to say we were trying to dictate how this should be. All we wanted was to see the evidence and report and make a strategy plan for court I thought that was how it was supposed to go. I don't think that was too much to ask.

Unreal! It has come to this!!! I wish I would have seen these remarks before we hired him!! A no show for 3 weeks now!!! I'm going to show up and show out at the office!!!!

He take your money. Then dont see clients. Then out of the blue he calls I guess he need another 350.00 DO NOT USED HIM

If I were you I would not even consider this attorney's services. Why, because you do not receive paid services from him. It has been 3 years and I have made about 30 calls to his office about my case and I have received perhaps 3 returned calls promising resolution. The only step left for me now is to file a complaint with the Bar Association. If you are wise consider some other attorney if you want quality services.

I have never had such a positive experience with a attorney the way I have with Reginald Carpenter. My family and I are greatly indebted to this very capable and intelligent attorney. When my father was losing his battle with cancer and we did not have the appropriate last minute detail of his final wishes completed we were at lost end to try to protect his personal interest and estate. Most of the attorneys I spoke with want a enormous upfront cost and not much interest outside of there attorneys fees. I so happen to meet the wonderful man a public function and explain my dilemma. Mr. Carpenter immediately sat my sister and I down and explained in detail our option for I dad and gave us a step by step tutorial on how to proceed with my father will. Not only did my father make the transition with his final testament in place but he was given a peace of mine that he took care of his family in his final hour. Thank you Attorney Reginald Carpenter for being the ultimate professional and caring counsel that you are I will never step outside of your office for any of my legal needs ever!. Very satisfied life long customer and I just felt compelled to tell the world how awesome you and your law office are.
