I was going through a very hard time with this felony case and at times didn’t always do what was asked in a timely fashion. Mr. Shoemaker never gave up on me or my case. In the beginning, he mentioned dismissal and I was very skeptical. But here I am today, free of this case (dismissal). Mr. Shoemaker has helped me start a new chapter in my life. He’ll never know how much I appreciate his patience and knowledge.

So I hired shoemaker to get me the best possible outcome and after shoemaker told me he has been friends with the da for 10 years I thought hiring him was a good choice until after months of sitting in jail shoemaker tells me he can try to get me 4 years but really 5. So he’s doing the same work a free lawyer would do, thanks. I said I was going to hire a new lawyer because I already got approved for a program so I don’t know why it changed and the best he could do was 4/5 years, he laughed in my face and said hiring a new lawyer won’t get me a better deal cause of his da friend.”, said client. Will be reporting this to the state bar. For clarification I am quoting shoemakers client because he is unable write his own review since he’s currently serving a 4 year sentence (1 year less a free lawyer would have done & would have saved $2500) I’m revising this review after being threatened with legal action by shoemaker if I didn’t remove it. No wonder he has no bad reviews. I’d like to add that a lawyer essentially holds your life in their hands so choose wisely because voicing your opinion and upsetting them can lead to you losing many years of your life which I feel is what happened here.
