I should have done better research as my dissatisfaction with Garcia-Windsor is very similar to other reviews. Throughout the entirety of my involvement with the firm, I experienced negligence, incompetence, inattention towards my case, as well as incoherence among staff. Before I was even needing representation, I was passed around to three different lawyers before they each left the firm. All my money went to internal staff consultations about my case with each turnover and nothing externally to move my case forward. The firm then closed my case without my knowledge. After months of silence and my own investigation, I discovered the firm has closed my case and their negligence had been what was keeping my administrative review from proceeding. In attempting to address my concerns and obtain necessary paperwork, I was met with more incompetence and disrespect. I then quickly terminated with the firm. I am nowhere closer to having my issue resolved, and I am out money and more importantly time. I highly advise seeking counsel/representation elsewhere.

The entire team did such a superior and professional job for me, in my hour(s) of need, it has taken me almost a month (from the end of the trial) to put words to paper, and express my gratitude. In December of 1985, as a favor to a friend at a local charity, I donned a Santa suit, and assisted with food and gift distribution to indigent families in the Grand Prairie Community. Little did I know this would become a 35+ year “side gig” for me, assisting local charities and non-profits all over the DFW MetroPlex as Santa Claus. In December of 2021, while volunteering at the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce Christmas party, I was unjustly accused of ”inappropriately touching” two young ladies. I had done nothing wrong, and refused to plead guilty (or no-contest) to something I did not do. While it was ONLY a Class C Misdemeanor, my reputation in the community was at stake. In a small community, and to a “home town” Community Banker, reputation is of paramount importance. Patrick, Eric, Jerry, Michelle and the entire team treated it (and me) like it was a life and death matter, because to me, it WAS. The, interviews, delays, discovery, scheduling, re-scheduling, additional witness interviews, multiple prosecutorial postponements and changes went on for OVER a year and a half. Through it all, the team at the Law Office of Patrick J. McLain kept me informed, protected, prepared, and ready for battle. When I finally got my day in court, Eric, Jerry and Patrick were there every step of the way, by my side, defending me against misstatements of the prosecutor’s witnesses, and the slanderous, manipulative overreach by the team of prosecutors. In the end we prevailed; a unanimous decision by the jury of NOT GUILTY on all charges. Again, I cannot express an appropriate level of gratitude, nor recommend higher, my lead attorney Eric Durojaiye, Chief Investigator Jerry Ray, and all the members of the team at the Law Office of Patrick J. Very rude. Scheduled a consultation and was called “argumentative” by Garcia because I was asking clarifying questions. She kept using analogies that weren’t really applicable to my situation because even though she was provided documentation ahead of the consultation she clearly hadn’t read it. She made incorrect assumptions and was all around very rude. Also the fee for a CPS case was $2500. Decided to go with someone far kinder, less presumptive, and much cheaper.
