Patrick McLain is THE EXPERT on the military justice system! Before I realized I needed an attorney, I thought my situation was a easily explained and easily understood mistake. I found myself being (subtly at first) ostracized and excluded from meetings, conferences, and correspondence --- all that were directly related to my area of responsibility. It dawned on me, via a "we need to ensure the i's are dotted and t's are crossed," from one of my bosses, that the "easily explained, easily understood" was going to cost me my 25+ year retirement - the result of a lot of sacrifices and opportunities foregone. Hiring Patrick was the BEST DECISION IN MY LIFE! He knows when to be an all-out bulldog (go USMC!) and is the master of a well-placed growl (go USMC!). The first thing Patrick advised me was to keep my mouth shut- - I did, and I still do. Patrick WON my case for me - - I will be retiring with ALL of my hard-earned benefits. The experience was rough but I am very,very grateful I had Patrick to help me through it. His expertise is supported by the full range of experiences; he knows how the system works! A MAN THAT GOD PUT IN MY PATH For the past year and half I have been through the hardest ordeal in my military career. I was facing multiple charges in a Special Court Martial. Not having any experience in legal matters I needed someone with the knowledge and experience in Military Law not only to represent me, but also to fight for my 26-year military career. Mr. Patrick McLain was that individual; someone I could trust and who guided me every step of the way. Very nice and professional, but he was misinformed about certain important laws surrounding my case. If I could do it all over again, I would definitely not have chosen him to handle my case.
