Texas Defenders!!!!!!! Robert and his team was straight forward and honest. Before I hired them I had another group handle my exact same situation. After I agreed on terms and made my first initial payment, I spoke to Robert and his law firm for a second opinion. Immediately I regretting not contacting them first. I took my losses and went ahead with this law group. They told me this would take anywhere between 6 months to a year, and it took less than half the time. Payment was quick, documents were quick, and I didn’t even have to call for a follow up. I was contacted immediately. I will be using them going forward and I will be sending referral for any criminal matter case or anything this practice can handle. At the beginning of my case, I was facing a second-degree felony charge for possession and was held in Dallas County without bond, leaving me with limited options. From the outset, he provided me with exceptional guidance and unwavering support throughout the entire process. My case, which began in September, concluded on January 12th, with the outcome being a significant reduction of the second-degree felony charge to a state jail felony—a considerable difference. Additionally, I was not required to pay restitution and received two years of deferred probation. Initially, I was facing a second-degree felony conviction, which would have included probation. However, David advised me, saying, “Mr. [****], I don't want you to risk further consequences on probation when we can work to minimize your sentence. The potential sentence of 2-20 years for a second-degree felony is severe.” Thanks to his expertise and dedication, he was able to get the case reduced to a state jail felony, providing me with a far more manageable resolution.
