Everything went smoothly and fast. Overall it was a great experience, and I can’t thank her and her team enough for this opportunity. For the first time in a long time I feel like I can be in peace without the fear that everything can be pulled right from under me. This gave me stability and a solid ground to begin building my future. Not only that but now I don’t feel as trapped as I used to, I can travel anywhere but most importantly, I can travel to my homeland to see those people I left behind oh so long ago. We all have that childhood best friend, or in my case two. I was lucky enough to have had these last 10 years with my brother but not with my cousin and I’m beyond excited to see her and my other relatives again. Maybe now I can feel a more concentrated connection to my roots and my culture. I think the best thing of all is being able to visit my father’s grave, a man I never got the opportunity to get to know, or to have enough memories with, but nevertheless my father. I miss him every day and while I know he’s with me in some way, I’d love to sit in his place of rest and finally be able to tell him all the things I never got to say because I wasn’t aware enough. I’ve never felt this much hope and for anyone seeing this, I wish you’re able to feel this. My expectations for the process were for a long term, however we immediately started getting correspondence from USCIS in in 7 months we received our approval. I recommend Lira Bravo Law, PLLC to anyone seeking an immigration family based firm. They handled my DACA Renewals since 2018 and started my residency process in 2019. I was initially doing Consular Process for my residency but thanks to Madelein, Monica and Jenna for encouraging me to do Advance Parole through DACA in 2021. Thankfully, my Advance Parole was approved in 2022 and once I came back I was able to continue my residency process though Adjustment of Status allowing me to adjust in the U.S. and was also Approved! Thank you again to Madelein for always being dedicated and caring with my case and to Monica and Jenna for all the advice they gave me through my processes!
