Don is amazing! Extremely professional, informative and responsive! Highly recommend!

Don is THE MAN! Ive never met a Lawyer that is as efficient, takes calls and emails day and night, (I don't think he sleeps or vacations, but LOVES his wiener dog! ha) and maps everything out as good and clear as Don did. His assistant Oliver was REALLY good at his job. Both very professional and classy, straight shooter, fair on price, and did everything he said he would do. Im hoping I never have to call him again for court matters, but if I do it will be Don. Great Guy and cares about his clients and work. I appreciate him. Side Not, If he ask for certain documents or assignments to be done, don't be lazy. Get it done and over to him so he can do his job. If you do that, and not wait until last minute, everyone will leave happy.

After all this time drowning in debt, I wish I'd called Don Hood years ago. Initially, I was just calling around trying to get an idea of bankruptcy and what the process was like. While I was just on the fence about whether or not I would file, once I called Don Hood, I decided I was going to do this. The decision was easy and here’s why: Don was very informative about the bankruptcy process without being judgmental about how I came to have so much debt in the first place. He let me know that on my income, I could qualify for chapter 7. He answered all my questions and concerns around bankruptcy (mainly fraud, ability to get jobs, and homeownership in the future). It also helps that Don is available pretty much any time of the day, because let’s be honest, when your finances are a mess, you can have a lot of sleepless nights thinking about it. LOL. Anyways, maybe a month after I got into contact with Don, I bit the bullet, paid my $800 filing fee (he offers a payment plan), and filed for Chapter 7. A little over a month after that, we had the 341 meeting with the trustee which was seriously about 5 minutes of yes or no questions. Don will prep you for everything beforehand. I think because of the stigma, it can initially be scary to even think about bankruptcy, let alone making the decision to file it. However, when you’re ready, don’t walk, RUN to the office of Don Hood. He is excellent at what he does and his services are truly life-changing.

Attorney Hood was amazing! I must admit we got off to a bumpy start but it was because of his passion for what he does. He cleared ALL my debts and now I can move on with my life!

2 stars: While he completed the job, my experience with him was not pleasant. He spoke to me in a condescending manner and often brushed off my concerns. I personally would not recommend him to anyone considering bankruptcy. I dreaded each time I had to contact him, as he was consistently dismissive. This reflects my personal experience, and I acknowledge that others may have different experiences. Additionally, contrary to what he may say, there are several other attorneys in the DFW area who offer payment plans. I chose to work with him out of urgency and regret not conducting more thorough research beforehand.

Not very nice

We originally called Don Hood in somewhat of a desperate situation.We had opened a new franchise in the state of Texas,(first location in the state of Texas)and unfortunately hadn’t done very well. We were buried in debt and immediately felt relief after speaking to Don and Oliver his assistant. They gave excellent advice, made us feel so much better and we knew we were in good hands. We recommend Don and give him absolutely five stars!! He cares about his clients keeps you informed and always very professional.Thanks again to Don & Oliver for caring and solving this problem for us.
