Chris Lake was my attorney and I have an expert witness document from a family law board certified attorney that Chris fell far beneath the standard care of a family law attorney and he also stated that Mr. Lake new better. The office staff is nice and the paralegal was responsive. They definitely did a great job documenting my invoice and billing for every possible minute. Christopher Lake, the attorney referred to me by a friend seemed professional at first and made a great sales pitch but I realized after speaking to several other divorce attorneys after my divorce that Mr. Lake uses scare tactics to get you hooked. He is temperamental and makes threats to drop you as his client if there is something you said or did that does not agree with his way of life. He reminds constantly that you may lose your children as much as you can tolerate. I made an extremely poor custody deal, lost a lot of my possessions and still suffering the consequences of his "advice" and "expertise." There is apparently many other great attorneys at GBA based on the reviews. Just avoid Christopher Lake!!
