I wanted to file for divorce immediately from my narcissistic husband and I needed an attorney. I found Mark on this site! Read his reviews and had to give him a call. He scheduled my consultation right away and immediately I knew he was the right Attorney for me! He is smart, well versed in the Texas law, and does not overcharge you like other attorneys! I used Mr. Cohan services for a formal child custody and child support agreement. I am out of state due to my military service and many lawyers would not help. I have been working with the Texas Attorney General for five years to get a formal child support agreement and go absolutely NOWHERE. They kept telling me I need to file in the state that I am located although both parents are Texas residents. I started working with Mr. Cohan in August 2018 and the judge signed off on the order in Feb 2019. We now have a formal child custody agreement and child support order. I am very happy with Mr. Cohan services and will use him again if needed.

Not sure even where to start with Mark, typically when I think of lawyers my blood boils, But Mark is not a typical (overpriced, cocky, sleezeball) lawyer Mark is just a down to earth guy that is all about making a reliable, honest, and reputable business for the working man. Mark handled my un-contested divorce in Dallas County. Mark was not the cheapest around but he was by far the best when considering Price, Attention to detail, Experience, and Prompt Professionalism. Some of the go to quick divorce places like (123divorce and cheapdivorce.com) maybe be under 400 dollars, but good luck getting a call back and good luck knowing your lawyer before court day. Mark never once failed to return a call within normal business hours, and on multiple occasions responded to emails late at night. For my Uncontested Divorce with 2 decree changes in the process he only charged $800 dollars and that INCLUDED the filing fees. Mark recently helped me with my custody/geographical restrictions case. I took a better paying job in Houston and was in the process of relocating. My ex-husband was upset by this and decided he would take it to court and try to get a custody switch. When I first met with Mark, he explained what would happen including the possible consequences of my move without the court's approval. He was honest with me and did not set any false or unrealistic expectations. He managed to keep me calm during the drawn out custody battle and always got back to me to answer my questions no matter how silly they were. He took the time to explain everything to me to make sure I understood. When the court date rolled around, he was very well prepared and truly fought for me. I was especially impressed with his attention to detail and how well he represented me. In the end, not only did he get the geographical restrictions lifted but he was also able to drastically increase the amount of child support I received monthly AND have my ex-husband meet me half way to pick up our son during his visitation days instead of having me drive to Dallas every other weekend to drop off like I’ve been doing. At first, I thought I had a very weak case that wouldn’t hold up in court but Mark turned it into a very strong one. Thanks to Mark my son and I are now in a much better living situation. Most importantly, I no longer have to worry about the possibility of losing custody. I can't say enough good things about Mark. He is trustworthy, knowledgable, patient, and incredibly sharp. Mark is a good guy who tries hard. I personally think he just needs more experience and needs to be a little more aggressive. (which I'm sure will happen as he gets the experience) If you have a simple case, Mark is a good attorney.
