I was extremely pleased with the legal services Walker Fults provided me when i was in a pinch after I received a speeding ticket! Though i'm sure he had "bigger fish to fry" than helping me with a speeding ticket, he was exceptionally professional, dedicated, and on top of things every step of the way! I felt like i was always in good hands and I was very impressed with his commitment to my case. I would very highly recommend Walker Fults to anyone needing legal help!

Walker Fults has restored my faith in humanity! He presents a caring and trustworthy view of what being a lawyer is. Not only did he handle my case well, he updated me, and used knowledge and compassion to make sure I was aware of the situation. I'm a college student and found myself in an unfavorable position and his reasonable price point allowed me to have quality legal representation. His extensive skillset gives his clients the best possible outcomes!

Peter worked hard for 4 years to get my freedom back. I had a few bumps but he was always there and took a chance when he didn't have to and kept me out of jail He's very professional and I would recommend him to anyone who needs an above par attorney. He takes his clients very serious and is always a phone call away and if he isn't able to answer his assistant is always there to do what she can and shows true compassion for their clients. 5/5 stars for a great attorney!!!!!!

Walker went well above and beyond what was expected to help me. He was prompt in his communications, polite, and professional. If you are looking for an attorney that actually cares about your best interests and will do everything in his power to make things right for you, look no further.

I hired Barrett in August 2017 after terrible mediator Gary Berman filed assault-by-contact charges against me (Berman is a mean bully and yelled at and insult me to get me to settle a case I filed, and I refused, and on the way out I told him what I thought of him and gave him a very light tap by his shoulder as if to say "Attaboy, way to ruin the mediation."). Barrett advised me to plead "No contest," which was correct, and the judge reduced the fine and it went away. In June 2018 I hired him again to get the record expunged. My main problem with Peter Barrett is he communicates very rarely. He takes your money, and you have no idea what is going on. He is also very unpleasant, short tempered, and rude. If you ask him any questions, he gets offended and treats you like dirt. I hired him in June 2018 to expunge the charge, and heard nothing from him for six months. I emailed him in December, and he said the D.A.signed off on this November 27 -why did it take him five months to see the D.A.? He said the judge should sign it in the following 30 days, by 12/27/18, and then the agencies have 30 days to comply, but never gave me an update. I called and checked myself and learned this was done in December. I didn't hear from Barrett until around March 2019, and just got a short letter, not even an email. I am very surprised to see any positive reviews here. I wish I had never hired him. I expect anyone else would be better. The #1-rated firm in DFW is Varghese Summerset in Fort Worth, who I used on a prior expungement, and they are friendly and amazing. I called Varghese one Sunday morning and he picked up and talked to me for quite a while. I thought I needed someone in Dallas - but I didn't, and neither do you. Call Varghese. They have >167 reviews and their average is...5.0. Otherwise you will get treated like dirt by Peter Barrett.

Let me start off by me saying i was extremely lucky. Sometimes you have to try, and make the effort because it can end up being the best thing you decided to try to do. Going with my opinion i considered what i did was not wrong. I was at a grocery store and had items. Some items i put in a birthday bag because i could not hold everything and the carts and baskets were a far walk on the whole opposite side of the grocery store. So i put 4 rather inexpensive items in the bag to prevent me walking and dropping, then picking the items back up like a repetitive loop. So i go to cashier stand. I tell the cashier i do not have my second checking card that i needed. Made sure to lift the birthday bag with items up to the cashiers eye view and say"I have not purchased this yet, i need my other card." Cashier knods and says ok. I rang up everything else and paid for those items. I have been to this store hundred's of time. Several times since most that worked there new who i was, regular customer in other words. So the cashier would always say sure its ok, go get your card or cash or id. I would walk out of the store with one or 2 items under my arm and run to my car and come back to have them rung up, or items Id'd. Since they allowed me it was habit and i did not do this often but i would never intentionally steal. On that gloomy day after i let the cashier know i had not paid for the items in the christmas bag i had the items i paid for in my left hand and the christmas bag with 4 items in it in my right hand. I start walking to the exit focused to get to my car, drop off the purchased bags and get my other check card and walk back to pay for the christmas bag with 4 items. But the opposite of what i was told ok to do was not ok that day. They stopped me. They said"Mam please come with us, you are being held here for attempting to steal merchandise from our store, plz open the bag, miss employee can you do a count of the stolen items plz, mam, i have no sympathy for people like you and your explaination is a complete lie, so if you think we are going to be easy on youz you can just stay quiet and do exactly what i say. So im in the break room, employees walking in and out listening while they interrogated me, insulted me, laughed at me, wrote me up, restricted me from not only the store but even stores nxt to it while there giggling whether it should be forever or 90 days. He called the cops, they charged me with a class C misdemeanor for items that amounted in total 27 dollars or less. What happened to theft under 50. I got theft under 100. I explained everything and they lied to me, even insulted my passport photo. Was not pleasant at all. So what to do after they had me sign some paperwork they would not let me see. And give me a nice charge and send me on my way. I was looking at various lawyers but none of them would take my defense case, had to be much worse then a class c to take on. But luckily one of the big offices I called they refferred me to Walker Fultz. After speaking to him the first time he was extremly patient, heard me out before I even asked him if he would accept my case because I knew if I didnt fight this I'd be worse off and I certainly did not want a record in my life. He was so nice, pleasant and accepted my case. After he took it on his price was very reasonable and end the end he fought my case and it was dismissed. I still thank him to this day and if you need a lawyer that can fight your certain case I would refer you to Walker Fults! Big thanks to him and Happy Holidays!

I did not retain this attorney however I spoke with Liz and she was able to speak with me and provide assistance without hesitation. She did not rush me off the phone or make my concerns seem as if they didn’t matter. I appreciate her time and care.
