I was referred to Dennis and Shannon by a friend of a friend who recommended him as the best family attorney in Dallas, and it’s truly one of the best decisions I’ve made. The situation was a nightmare for me, as a contentious custody battle was the last thing I wanted. Dennis and Shannon knew that and were kind, comforting and supportive throughout and always on top of everything (and in a custody case, there are many things). Dennis was extremely shrewd in cross examination, and represented me expertly in front of the judge. My ex had a high priced, highly regarded attorney, but Dennis was simply better. We ended up settling in mediation with the terms I wanted. I could not recommend him more highly and will absolutely contact him should the need arise again. Shannon is also wonderful to work with. The process is an unpleasant one for sure, so having someone I trust and actually like represent me made a huge difference to me.

Dennis and Shannon provided invaluable service to me and my family as we attempted to secure legal conservatorship for our vulnerable grandchild. I hired Dennis years ago for my divorce and he worked with me during that time at a different law firm. During the proceedings, my husband and I decided to give it another try. In 2018, years later, I reconnected with Dennis to finish the first proceedings. In the meantime I had to hire another attorney for Guardianship of my mother and subsequent probate and etc. It was one of the toughest times in my adult life and the law firm I used at that time, made it even MORE difficult. After our conference, Dennis asked if he could pray for me and the circumstances I was going through. I cannot even express how this touched me. I knew I had made the right decision in finding this caring individual to walk me through this stressful time in my life. Each time I contacted the office I always got an answer that day. I never had to play chase with Dennis or Shannon. When we went to court it was as easy as it can get concerning a divorce. The scheduling, the calls, emails, answers to my questions were always done in a caring and timely fashion. Their follow-up has been phenomenal also. Shannon Dielmann is a great asset to the firm and they are an awesome team. After hurdling through CPS and my exes lawyer I was going to give in and give up. I was confused with all the lingo and the other lawyer trying to trap me. I made the decision to call around for lawyers a week and a half before my trial and somehow found Dennis and he was literally a god sent angel. I went to a conference with him and explained everything showed him my evidence against my ex and he assured me, he can help recover my son. He and Shannon worked their magic and within a week and a half, at trial I was granted sole custody and since my son was out of the country, he made it possible for him to come back home. Kept me informed of everything and was very quick in responding. Didn’t charge me an arm and a leg like most quotes were. If I ever need another family lawyer I know exactly who to call. I had a very hard divorce. My ex fought me tooth and nail about absolutely everything. But Dennis and his team (the amazing Shannon) had my back through the entire process. I felt completely informed and supported in the process and was told what I deserved and what was realistic to ask for. It was great not feeling alone at such a difficult time. Though no one wins in a divorce, I think they won the case for me. I will always recommend Dennis to fight for you and advise you during one of the most difficult times in your life. After being drug back to court for a third modification by my ex, Dennis knew how to handle someone like that. Dennis was prepared, listened to the outcome I desired, and took the time to explain the process to me. Something that no other attorney had ever done before.
