I hired Dennis towards the end of 2023 and it is now 10/29/24 and nothing, absolutely nothing I hired him for has been done for me. He has talked down to me, belittled me, put blame on me, been nothing but rude, unsupportive, condescending, judgmental, unsympathetic & unprofessional. If my emails don’t get ignored for weeks to months on end then I get the treatment as stated above when I reach out asking questions. My autistic pre teen daughter was taken from me due to the father claiming I was abusive and living in an hotel and she was given to him- a felon with child neglect felony charges and on probation, by a new judge. Within that time of placement she started cutting herself among other awful things and Dennis did nothing about it. I know there was something he could have filed to of gone back to court to let the judge know and to of gotten my daughter back to a safe home. He has done nothing but use everything I’ve gone through this past year to get on my feet against me and acts like he supports the opposing side more. Btw, I have a clean background. He’s not subpoenaed anyone I found to speak on my behalf that knows my daughter and I, hes refused to accept written letters or emailed letters from her past counselors, teachers, friends and family to speak on my behalf. He’s not tried to prove that the father lied in court and made my daughter lie to court officials and officers. He did nothing in child support court to get me what I am owed by the other parent and did not ask for jail time. He’s done nothing to get me a new judge that I requested a year ago since our current one was new, inexperienced and gave my daughter to a felon with no proof of abuse on my part. (CPS never ever got involved) Dennis used my whole huge retainer within the first two months of being hired and all that had been done in that time frame was paperwork, emails, calls & court a couple times. Many many times when I reached out asking why nothing has been done, whats the plan, what’s going on, what’s taking so long, why was my retainer spent so fast on hardly anything, he would reply in a rude, abusive & narcissistic way saying that I’m a bad mother, I do not have a job or my own home and that I did not pay my retainer and that it was not my own money and that it came from elsewhere. Which is irrelevant if someone offered to pay my retainer for me. Dennis will purposely argue and belittle you in emails to get a rise from you so he can charge you for emailing back and forth. I chose this attorney due to him supposedly being a Christian but I’ve never seen felt or heard an ounce of Christian behavior come from him in over a year now. He has also had two assistants in the last year. They do not respond to emails in a timely fashion as well and will say anything to try to cover themselves and stop you from emailing. I do not recommend this attorney. Please do your research and find a real Christian attorney that has you and your child in his best interests because this has been a nightmare and my child is being neglected and it’s on this attorneys hands for not doing anything about it. *update- it’s now 11/19/24 and still no response from Dennis or his assistant via email since 10/23/24 of me trying to get my daughter for the holidays and reaching out to my attorney and his assistant to get that done for me. I guess no answer is an answer.

Genesis was a great help, communicative and patient.

If I could leave a negative review I would, they basically left me in the dark the entire time and then I find out from one of the doctors they sent me to that they were dropping my case. They couldn't even contact me for that. Highly recommend looking elsewhere. Edit: I love the fact that in their response they left out a few details, one of which was that the multiple times I tried to call them were all after the police report came back. I also had security camera footage showing the other driver rolled out of a parking lot without stopping and then stopped in the middle of the road blocking both lanes. When I asked to petition to get the police report corrected because it was not accurate I was told it was not worth it. Also as far as them reaching out to me I also had no missed calls or texts from them prior to me calling them when the doctor told me my attorney was dropping the case. And the "try and make it up to me" they speak of was offering me $500 to sign an nda and modify or delete my poor review.
