I was arrested for online solicitation of sex with a minor, “ the worst moment of my entire life”. I was totally lost where to turn for help, and had no previous experience with the legal system, and what would be the best way to approach my need for professional help with my situation. I began a search for an attorney that I felt would be able to help me with my legal problem at hand. In my research I found Mr. John R. Teakell attorney at law on his internet page, after reading about his past experiences and background, I decided to contact Mr. Teakell by phone and to my surprise he returned my call that same afternoon. After briefly discussing my situation, Mr.Teakell setup a meeting with me at his office. After meeting with him personally, and realizing the seriousness of the charges against me, I almost immediately felt a sense of his professionalism, the calm but serious approach of Mr. Teakell’s concern and ability to help me. Realizing what I had done was very wrong, and I was facing some very serious consequences, I put my trust in Mr. Teakell’s professional skills to help me. Without writing a book about my case and the outcome, after the DA assigned to my case informed us that she was going for 7 to 12 years of prison confinement, my only request for Mr. Teakell was, please keep me out of prison. Married for 45 years at the time I didn’t want to lose my wife, family, home and basically everything I had worked for my entire life. The result of my case was a short 30 days in the local county jail, and a 10-year probated sentence. Summary: I am still married, have my family, been married for 52 years, still enjoy working and being able to support my home life, and all because of the trust I put in Mr. Teakell, and he came through like a real professional. I will always be grateful for his services and recommend him to all that need help with legal issues, that are greater than those we can handle, without legal help.
