If you choose Chris Hoover, you’ll will get terrible results—I guarantee it. He will overcharge you and not care about your case. He constantly boasts on his ability however the results never confirm his “expertise”. You will quickly realize once he has your money he has deceived you. Please take this as a warning and read other reviews about him. And avoid at all costs.

I thought long and hard for sometime before writing this review, but I think its best for people to know my experience. I hired Mr. Hoover with a recommendation from another person. He is a very expensive attorney about double most attorneys in DFW area. He did represent me but seems like day one we were not on the same page. One of the biggest complaints I have about him and his legal assistant THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION after many many emails and voice mails to his firm - NO RESPONSE - crickets ??!! Very Very rarely will Chris or Paula ever get back to via email or a phone call. You never know what is going on in your case and you get very frustrated trying to get an update to what's gong on with your case. But they will contact you immediately when a bill needs to be paid asap ! Save yourself the money and headache, there are plenty of good attorneys in Dallas for half the the price of Christopher's Hoover firm charges you $$$$, that do a great job. I have since hired another attorney that is absolutely WONDERFUL and a great firm - WOW was I impressed with my new attorney firm (who was also recommended to me) -- night and day from Hoover law firm. Really makes you wonder what kind of service you get or really DONT get after you pay him. Like one of the reviewers said below run as fast as you can before spending your life saving $$$$ at Hoover Law firm !!!

From the outset of our consultation Chris was extremely transparent regarding costs and potential results regarding my situation. I was in a bad situation while in school in another state and he was able to get my probation transferred from Texas out-of-state so that my studies weren’t disrupted. He handled paperwork and court appearances for me and is getting my order of discharge all without me having to travel back home. Great results produced from terrible circumstances. Highly recommend him as an attorney.

Chris is a very expensive attorney who's results just doesnt speak for themselves. I hired Chris a year ago hoping he'll help me. He did not. He definitely is in it strictly for the money. This is a tough time in my life and I understand the pressures behind it. Do yourself a favor and hire another attorney.

I hired Chris after getting the worst possible plea bargains.. My case was a motion to revoke from a PI arrest on a 2nd dwi case while on probation. He only had to show up twice, and I got a 3 month extension with no jail time, and he made sure that everything I had done during my probation counted and now I'm on mail in!!! This just happened today! Today was a tough one with a tough judge, as he wasn't budging on no jail time. I am in complete shock! He's worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! All the money you "think" you'll save by hiring a cheap attorney will bite you in the butt and you'll be posting that money for classes, counseling and whatever else the county can charge you for. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE AND PASS HIM UP, YOU'LL REGRET IT EVERY DAY.

Let me start by saying that Chris Hoover is more then a attorney he truly cares about his clients. He and his team (Paula) are not afraid to fight for you to help you and your family. They are always available when needed by email, phone, in person or even personal cell contact. I was arrested last April for a DWI Felony 3rd. I was in a line of work that required me to be licensed to do it and wasn't allowed ANY Felony convictions. My case didn't look good and quit frankly I really felt my world crumbling in as I know how hard it is to find a job and place to live with the scarlet letter of "F" on your chest the rest of your life. Chris and his team dugg in and found a defense for me that would work. Court is now over and I can PROUDLY say because of my FRIEND, not just attorney Chris Hoover and team that I am still not a FELON. People including me sometimes think that will never happen to me......I will never be in that position. The reality is life is what happens when your busy making other plans and you just never know what dumb mistake you may make that can take your whole life away at any moment.........when that happens Chris and team will be there to help!!! If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need a DUI/DWI attorney and you don't call Chris Hoover.......well your gambling with fate. I can't recommend him ENOUGH. He quit litterly gave me my life back. Thank you Chris and Paula for all you do and have done!!!! You guys are THE BEST better then the rest.

I was arrested for a 1st offense misdemeanor DWI with a BAC over 0.15 in March 2015. There was an open container in my car and the evidence against me was heavy. It was a girls night out and I have never ever been in trouble with the law before. Thankfully I found Chris! He put me at ease during our initial consultation. I was sceptical about our chances at trial but did not want to take a plea. After 15 long months, a lot of trips to the courthouse, endless stress and panic, our trial date finally arrived!! It took two full days and I was blown away at Mr. Hoover's knowledge and trial skills. He is very expensive but worth every penny!!! I had to see it to believe it!! He has a no nonsense attitude and will give you your best shot if you can be patient enough to take this all the way to trial. I highly recommend Mr. Hoover!!!

Christopher Hoover came highly recommended from a family member. I have never needed the services of an attorney, but my son unfortunately has. This was an area I had no experience in. Mr. Hoover and his assistant, Paula, did their best to guide us through one of the most difficult times of our lives; very serious charges with very serious consequences. With what Mr. Hoover had to work with, the outcome was surprisingly positive. I can not thank him enough for all his hard work and diligent focus on my son's case. Attorney Hoover is a caring, kind and compassionate attorney who is not in it for the money, rather he is in this line of work to help those who have made a poor choice to drink and drive. His fees are certainly worth it f you are looking for an attorney who can help your situation. His calming, reassuring and knowledgeable attitude towards me when we visited in his office helped to ease my fears. He didn't make me feel like a criminal, rather I felt like I had a caring parental figure in him. I would certainly recommend Attorney Hoover to all, especially those young offenders (MIP, DWI, DUI, etc.) because he will reassure you and put you at ease, even though you are the one who made the poor choice. He is nothing less than respectful.

I have, unfortunately, dealt with many lawyers over the past ten years. However after I used Chris Hoover on a DWI case, I have never even thought of using anyone else. Mr. Hoover has handled two DWIs (class A), two terroristic threat charges (class A) and a possession charge (class B) for me as well as given me amazing advice on other minor offenses. After all of these charges I NEVER SPENT A SINGLE NIGHT IN JAIL and not a single charge has ever touched my record! I refused A breathalyzer on BOTH DWIs and never lost my license for a single day. I could not be happier whit the outcomes of all my cases handled by Chris Hoover. He's not cheap but he IS the BEST. If you ask me, "Good lawyers aren't cheap and cheap lawyers aren't good" Mr. Hoover has been worth every penny and I highly recommend him!
