John is a great guy! But that is not why you are reading this review. He is a bull dog and will get you off!! Seriously John Cook or “Cookie” as I call him is a great DUI attorney… tell him you like Alabama football (even if you don’t) and he will fight like crazy for you!!

John is a remarkable lawyer! I first meet John serving as a juror on a DWI case and I knew than that he will be my lawyer if I ever got into a same situation. Back in 2014 I got my 2nd DWI And I was told to get a lawyer by my Bossman I was working for at the time...... A couple of employees there also recommended Me JOHN COOK so I hired him and 41/2 yrs later he got my DWI dismissed....... He was also reasonable on his fees......... John was sent to me as a gift! After falling victim of bad rookie police work, I was arrested and charged with a serious misdemeanor. From day 1, John reassured me that I would be okay and that I was in his safe hands, he was my attorney but always spoke to me as a friend, always encouraged me and help me with the terrible fear I experienced dealing with the judicial system that was against me and determined to make me guilty. It was a long drawn case, lasted over 1 year, during this time John made sure I was safe even when I was out of state for months at the time for work. He dealt with all my appointments diligently and kept me posted so I could feel at ease. He presented my case to the DA and fought hard for justice, always battled the system to clear my path! I was arrested and charged for my 6th DWI in fall of ‘17. I had three convictions already and still have another pending. He effortlessly and diligently worked on my case with a hard approach via a Motion to Suppress the charge. I knew I was in excellent hands to begin with and he was extremely involved and kept me abreast of all the strategies they were going to use. He backed the cop into a corner by invalidating his reasons for pulling me over as well as technically presented the faulty manner in which the cop ran a sobriety test on me. I could not be more grateful for this attorney, he is extremely warm and personal, while professional and made me feel secure from the moment I first spoke to him. He was confident and argued my case that resulted in the judge granting the Motion to Suppress and my case is off the books now. Could not recommend him highly enough!!!

My grandfather was traveling in Dallas to see a friend. His friend and he went to a bar near his friends house. My grandfather wound up driving and there was a tail light out in his friends car. Well they wound up arresting my grandfather for DWI. I searched for DWI lawyers in the Dallas area and John Cook's name came up several times. My grandfather is so glad he hired John Cook. John Cook was not only personable as was his staff but he was very good in court. He analyzed my grandfather's case and recommended he take it to trial. My grandfather listened because he believed the government was wrong and he wasn't even drunk. Well on the day of trial John Cook wouldn't back down. After over an hour of picking a jury and busting the jury panel and with the prospect of having to come back with another panel on another day the prosecutor gave up and my grandfather pled to a traffic ticket. John Cook wouldn't back down and my grandfather was saved. John Cook is who you want if you are arrested.
