I am a father of a child under 3, and I was facing the prospect of reduced parenting time, being relegated to a weekend only dad that pays guideline child support. My situation was further complicated by a biased custody evaluation that was intentionally skewed against me. All of that, despite my consistent and active involvement in my son’s life from the moment I learned of the pregnancy. Additionally, I hadn’t done anything wrong, and there was nothing negative about me. Enter Ryan—a game-changer who turned my case around. Ryan’s preparation for my case was thorough and strategic. He is very good at selecting compelling evidence and coming up with an effective Case Strategy. His approach was aggressive, yet he never appeared as such due to his sharp intellect. In the courtroom, his skill in cross-examination was obvious, he exposed inconsistencies and undermined the credibility of witnesses. His questioning was both precise and effective. Outside the courtroom, Ryan meticulously reviewed every document and piece of evidence. His communication was always clear, informative, and responsive. I consistently felt that he sought the best possible outcome for me and my son, rather than focusing on maximizing his fees. Ryan handled my case brilliantly. He secured a 50/50 custody arrangement very early and then played the long game. He timed the discovery process just right, showing that we were prepared to go to trial if mediation failed, and hinted that we were confident with the evidence we had for trial. Ryan has represented us on two occasions, for a modification and enforcement. During the 14-hour mediation, he remained vigilant, even as the day stretched extremely long. He gives straightforward, honest answers, and has always been a pleasure to work with. Ryan and his assistants are easy to reach, and return calls and emails. In a court setting, he remained diligent, professional, calm and confident. He was able to keep focus on relevant matters, and really highlighted the issues to the judge. I hired Ryan for my custody case back in November of 2018. I couldn’t be any happier that I did. Ryan won my case for me yesterday in a 1 hour per side jury trial. We were expecting at least three to five hours to present all of our evidence & witnesses but when the opposing counsel stalled in mediation the judge ordered 1 hour per side. I didn’t know how in the world he would pull this off. Every second counted. He allocated his time brilliantly. He was aggressive but showed class. The opposing lawyer has been practicing law longer than Ryan has been alive. I thought that we would be in for a real dogfight in our initial hearing but Ryan just simply outmatched him, and honestly, made it look easy. His opening/closing remarks were astounding. Ryan is an awesome divorce attorney! There were things I wanted to give up on so my ex and I could just quit fighting and be done with the divorce, but Ryan recommended that I hang tough and fight for what was best for my son and I. Because of his excellent advice, I ended up getting everything I wanted out of the divorce plus double the amount of child support that ex wanted to pay.
