The attorney is always well prepared and able to confidently answer questions. It may not always be the answer you want to hear, but explained in a logical and easy to understand manner. I highly recommend Fears Law.

I am seeing a lot of positive reviews for this law firm, and I am just wondering why my mother in law is badly mistreated by these people. My mother in law was issued a $10,000 settlement check by this law firm on 12/19/2022, and she has not seen a dime of this money to this date.
The firm misspelled her name, resulting in chase bank holding her money. The check was deemed fraudulent since chase could not verify the check with the issuer. Her account was closed, and she didn't have access to her money for a month. The law firm changed its name as well and the check was written Fears Nashawati Law, which is no longer in existence.
We called this law firm so many times, and her employer did too, and every time we called we were send to a voicemail of Cindy Bennett. She never responded to any one of the multiple voicemails we left.
On 11/02/2023 I spoke to a Betty Alvarez who was very helpful by the way. She told me she was connecting me to Toni Guckert, the paralegal who was involved in the settlement. She copied me the email she sent to Toni. No response whatsoever from Toni.
I sent an email to her, no response. I then called her explained to her what chase had said, and she really sounded very uninterested. The last time I spoke to her she said she was going to talk to the partner who was involved in the case, and never heard from her.
On 11/30/2023, a lady at my mother in law's company made a breakthrough and managed to talk to Cindy Bennett, who I believe is the accountant. We got on a 3 way with Chase, of which chase said the resolution to this issue is for fears law to cancel the check through Frost back and issue her a new check.
Cindy said she would start the process and get back to us. This is almost 6 months later. No word from her.
I see the owner of this law firm response to the reviews on this site, and I hope he will reach out to us as well and get this resolved.
