This company is a scam/fraud. Run by an Indian couple who are practicing their Indian tactics to get clients. Their own employees rated them as their clients and most probably the majority of the reviews are by family and friends. When I reached out to this company via Facebook post, I clearly stated to both Jasmit and her husband Prashant (manager) the reason of switching lawyers. I clearly stated the amount of money I spent on the divorce process and that I was looking for someone with more experience and honesty when it to billing. Prashant constantly called me to sign up the contract with him. During our phone calls conversation, he stated that he understands my situation. He opened up about his personal life how he is from Delhi and had gone through tough marriage with his wife. Now they are working together on their marriage. He told me that in the worst divorce cases, they charge max $10k. Both husband and wife showed that my case would be easy and it won't cost me more than 5k for the remainder of the trial. After signing the contract, Jasmit gave the case to a junior lawyer, Najmu Mohseen. Every discussion we had, completely changed after signing the contact. Entire $5K retainer that I gave was utilized for just one hearing. When I questioned Prashant about the bill and itemization, he threaten to drop the case. Even though I told him prior to signing the contact that I can't keep changing lawyers. He told me that if I want their services, I continue to pay and that it would cost me an additional amount of $15k. His statement contradicted with what he said prior to signing the contract. I reached out to Jasmit with same concern. Rather than working to resolve the conflict, she decided to drop me as a client. I have reached out to them numerous times to get explanation of each item on the bill but of no use. Both husband and Wife refuse to respond to my emails. Husband was willing to pay $750 when I asked to pay back $1500. Now when I asked him to pay back whatever he was willing, he no longer responds. Anyone who signed the contact with this firm and experienced fraud, I think you all need to report to the bar association. The more reports, the sooner this fraud company can be dissolved or Jasmit's license can be taken away. As far as Najum Mohseen is concerned, she doesn't even have a decency to respond to her client. Most likely she feels scared of losing her job. Such lawyers should not be allowed to practice. These people are taking advantage of people worst/lowest point in life. Husband hiding behind wife and wife hiding behind husband. Middle person (Najmu) keeping quite so she doesn't lose her job. Both husband and wife show you glitters but give you rocks. Kindly do not trust 5 stars reviews. They do not look real. This is just the way for them to grow their business with fake reviews. Update - December 12th, 2023 After posting my review, I got an email from the firm's attorney with title breach of contract. "We understand that individuals may have varying opinions, and we respect your right to express your feedback. However, we must emphasize that your actions go against the terms outlined in our contract. Our contractual agreement clearly stipulates that any disputes or concerns regarding our products or services should be brought to our attention directly through the channels specified in the contract. Publicly airing grievances without giving us the opportunity to address and rectify the issue internally constitutes a violation of the terms we mutually agreed upon. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. We hope you will remove your review and we can resolve this matter." Ignoring the fact that I tried to resolve the issue numerous time by email, phone call, text messages and nothing was done except to drop me as a client. Now, I get threatened with the email above for leaving a negative review. If you want this company to be successful, you need to understand success does not come easily. It requires effort, patience and patience to listen/read negative comment.
