I had the pleasure with working with Mrs. Hargrave about 2 years ago. I wanted to wait till my divorce was over and i had time to process before i wrote this review. So i heard about Mrs. Hargrave because she came highly recommended by a wife whose husband used in their divorce. If that doesn’t speak volumes let me tell you how she described her as well as my own experience. She said Mrs. Hargrave was very professional and very kind but a bulldog! I have personally met Mrs. Hargrave, she is a sweet beautiful woman who is a powerhouse! I sent her all the paperwork I did myself and told her all my concerns and I never felt like I left not knowing what the outcome would be. She is great with emails and I can’t tell you how many times she has gone out of her way to make me feel valued during this time! She never made me feel like I wasn’t good enough or my point of view didn’t matter. She stayed true to her character, never gave me the feeling that I couldn’t trust her. I hope I never have to use her again but if you are going through this difficult time, need someone who will hear you, and you can be truthful and honest with as well as listen to her very very very wise words. She is absolutely will be the person you will want representing you. She has great resources and she has an amazing team. Again, she came recommended to me from someone who went against her, imagine what she can do with her representing you! Hire Mrs.Hargrave, I promise you won’t regret it because I don’t! I still remember having my first conversation with Jennifer. I had a million thoughts in my head as I was falling apart mentally, emotionally and physically from what was about to be the fallout of my 11 year marriage plus three kids. In my own convictions of my own faith, lawyers were never in the cards for me. I was so convinced that we would just work things out and looking back, I was not able to see things for what it was. But what if I waited till now(almost 2 years later) to get perspective? It would’ve been too late. I was also in a clergy role at a church and she managed that complexity with class and care. I never ever ever felt like she was a step behind....her and Taylor were super professional and were on top of things every step of the way. They were very patient with me and fought hard to get me what I wanted. I look back now and I’m so grateful. She thought of everything when I couldn’t think of everything. I am now set for the rest of my life to love my kids well and to give myself a fighting chance at life! None of this is an exaggeration. Hargrave Law is the best family law practice. Trust me. I did my research and I consulted with a few people who would be able to handle the complexity of my case and only Jennifer had the integrity and collaborative skill to knock this out of the park. No way would I have gotten the outcome I received without Jennifer! I highly recommend her. She’s attentive and caring but she’s also honest, precise, realistic. She will challenge you and she will ask good questions to truly think about what you really want, helping to weed out stuff that’s not important. Best part is that she has the litigator skill set that when she needs to turn it on, she can switch those gears at any moment. She knows how to manage that tension well...ultimately she advocates for the most collaborative approach that skips out on the drama. Most of the time, this is what’s best for the kids too and for any shot at amicable coparenting. If you’re looking for something like this, don’t look anywhere else. Jennifer and her staff are GOLD!

This is an amazing, humble but very intelligent and knowledgeable attorney his focus at no time seem to be money-driven but giving the best and most professional courtesy an expert information to me as a client in a complementary meeting with him. You don't know what you don't know. However, you do know when something is not working out. With that said, I went through a couple of attorneys before being represented by Melody Petitt with Hargrave Family Law and that made all the difference. I will start off saying that the divorce process is like a game. And the law is the rule book, which is a constant that does not change. However, in my case, we were dealing with a high conflict personality; and, it cannot be taken lightly. She took the time to educate me on the law and how it applied in my situation, whether it was something I wanted to hear or not. The law is the law. She knew how to deal with the opposing party. Strategy was the key, and she was prepared for anything. She earned my trust and with that trust, she help make this process tolerable. Most importantly, she was able to get my case wrapped up in a timely manner with a desirable outcome. An outcome that would not have been possible otherwise. It's easy to find quality information on the website. I was not aware of the variety of services they offer to the people. The entire team seems to be very supportive, compassionate, and skilled; qualities I always look for in a professional.
