We hired Ms. Brow to handle our friend's request for probation after our original attorneys were not experienced enough and did not give us the best advice on how to defend his charges, which ultimately resulted in a prison sentence. We knew Collin County was apt to throw anyone in jail for the most minor charge, and in this case, the most trumped up out-of-context charges. We immediately did our research and came upon Ms. Brown, and we are so happy we did. She presented the case with logic, examples, references-very detailed, organized, and thorough -and advocated for our friend to receive probation. They are now able to move on with their life, and put start to put this unfortunate situation and the trauma of serving time behind them. She is currently assisting in getting probation terms (totally ridiculous and outrageous terms!) modified. I highly recommend Ms. Brown to anyone dealing with a criminal case. I only wish we had found her sooner-I am fully convinced there would have never been a conviction!

Kristin Brown is great. She gets my 4 E's -- enthusiastic, efficient, effective and excellent. Kristin is excellent at knowing the law and reading the prosecutor and the judge. Due to her recommendations, I turned down a "plea" deal which at first glance was attractive. She read the "table" perfectly, even as it evolved, and we got a directed verdict of not guilty. All for a very reasonable fixed fee that I had paid her more than a year earlier. She did not waste her time or mine and did not get down to serious work until it was necessary. Then she spent several weeks getting ready for trial. She reviewed everything I gave her and quickly grasped the smallest details. She poured over the video cams. Again, not missing a detail. She is very smart. I could not be more pleased with the outcome or her performance.

From the moment Kristin took my case she was an unstoppable force. Nothing about my case and none of the people against us intimidated her and it only made her work that much harder for me. I really can't imagine Kristin forgetting to do anything! who ever posted that and did so anonymously must have her mixed up with someone else and I question why he wouldn't give his name. I got into a physical altercation with a crazy TSA agent at DFW who hit me first. Of course the 3 cameras that would have shown that weren't working! I was told by the police they hadn't worked for a long time (this was just on the other side of the security area. I know that made me feel very unsafe. It was Friday about 4:30 so I figured I was doomed to stay there until Monday. She had me released ROR in about a 1/2 hour. She also told me I would not have to show up for all the BS hearings that get postponed every time because that was her job. I never did have to go to court. She got it knocked down to a misdemeanor and the sentence amounted to about what you'd pay for a speeding ticket and paid for deferred adjudication! She is awesome. I don't usually don't take the time to recommend people but in this case I felt I had to. Its your life on the line. Choose Kristin if you want the best outcome As far as her forgetting I contacted her recently after approx. a couple of years (to get my record expunged) and all I had to do was mention the incident and she knew right away. She was driving so she didn't look it up or anything

When my wife and I first met Kristin, we felt completely hopeless. I felt like the justice system was treating me unfairly. They charged me with a 1st degree felony for defending myself. I was facing 5-99 years in prison. My first attorney referred me to Kristin and she listened to our concerns and understood our worries. I was faced with a charge of sexual assault. This false allegation was made by my then wife, now ex-wife. The ex was clearly using the allegation as blackmail and leverage in our divorce case. Just having the false charges filed against me destroyed my life. When the charges were 1st filed in 2015 I had a different attorney. Deep down I don’t think this 1st attorney believed in my innocence. Every month, we would go to the Courthouse, the attorney would look for a plea deal, and then file an extension. This went on for over a year. I explained over and over that I am not going to plea to anything. I didn’t do anything. He would just go over the dire consequences I faced if I were found guilty, which included jail time, being a registered sex offender the rest of my life and loosing access to my young kids. Instead of defending me, he constantly pressured me to accept a plea deal. This 1st attorney had no game plan, and had zero skin in the game. My file with him was a few sheets thick. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I dug into the internet and found 7 different attorneys that practiced locally who I thought could beat these false allegations I was faced with. I made arrangements to interview each of the 7 attorneys in person, at their offices. I walked away from a couple of the meetings thinking, this was the one. But I stuck to my plan and forced myself to continue to explain my horrible situation, re-living every detail over and over to all 7 attorneys. I found that there are truly some good and passionate attorneys out there. I also came to realize how poor my representation had been up to that point. Each attorney had a game plan before I walked out of the room. Kristin was one who I met with early on and thought she was the one, but I continued to finish the other 7 interviews. When I was done, it was clearer than ever, Kristin was the one. I signed a contract with Kristin and never looked back. From day one, Kristin took charge and started fighting for me. This was a long battle with the DA’s office. Kristin immediately began filing motions and we got on the offense. What a breath of fresh air. I was totally deflated after a year of having a plea deal shoved down my throat for something I didn’t do. Kristin picked me up, dusted me off, made me feel confident and gave me hope. The fight had just begun. The prosecutor stood her ground and Kristin fought at every turn, filing motions, interviewing witnesses and people with knowledge in the case. She hired a private detective to flush things out and was even able to get 2 out of state witnesses served with subpoenas. Mine was a very complex and grim case, but with Kristin Brown fighting for me every inch of the way I prevailed! The sexual assault charges against me were dismissed 1 week before my jury trial began. I will save you the time and pain and possible dire outcome of choosing the wrong attorney.
