We have a case where judgement was granted in Texas but now needs to be modified in another state as that is where jurisdiction now is. Every other attorney I had contacted wanted $250 or more per hour plus upfront cost of $2500 on the cheap end AFTER HEARING THE SITUATION! We consulted with Brandon and after hearing the details immediately told me that chances were we would have to tackle this from the other state and NOT FROM TEXAS. However, he still investigated our case on his time trying to figure out anything he could do to get our case moved to the residing state which would mean much less hassle and fewer costs. In a nutshell it is a complicated case however Brandon did everything he could at NO CHARGE. Everyone else wanted money just to tell me that the situation had to be handled from my state and not even try to find a less expensive route. Brandon talked with me, offered advice and tried to do all he could to keep our legal cost at a minimal, and all of this knowing that we could not use him as he is only licensed in Texas. He is a man of character and morals and does not use cheap or deceitful tactics to gain business.

I met with Brandon for about 45 minutes in his office, and he looked at the documentation I had. His advice was that I didn't need a lawyer, but to go directly to the office in question, and speak them. His consultation was free of charge. The other attorneys I called had an hourly consultation fee. I did what he advised, and I was amazed at the outcome. I got exactly what I needed, and he gave me his card just in case, it didn't work out. He is a true people's champion.

I was a victim of a default judgement due to improper service. I did not even know there was a hearing until my wages began being garnished for a bogus child support obligation. I lived out of the state and Mr. Eckhart was a referred to me by a family member that lived locally and has used his services in the past.
By the time I found out about the default judgement the 20 time period to contest it had already expired. Mr. Eckhart immediately filed for a Bill of Review on my behalf, which we thought was a sure win as we had proof that the service address used by ex and her attorney were and address I had never even lived at, it was a family member of mine that lived in another state, who could not even pick up certified mail addressed to me so I had no way of knowing that there was going to be a hearing. We also also had proof that child support was being paid and has always been paid in the state that I was living.
The judge still denied our Bill of Review, for reasons unbeknownst to us, as we had everything showing that another state was taking child support for this child, and the address used for service was bogus. My ex and opposing counsel did not even show up for Bill of Review! The judge delayed our case for 4 hours so opposing counsel could show up!
Needless to say Mr. Eckhart found the decision so appalling himself, not only is he appealing the decision, he is handling the appeal at his expense. If you find another attorney that has that kind of integrity and doesn't just take the money and run, then you are one lucky individual. If you haven't, then Mr. Eckhart is who you should have represent you.

I was struggling to obtain an HOA approval to build a side fence on my yard.
HOA kept denied my request although it was not restricted within the CC&R.
After negotiating with HOA over 2 month, I was going nowhere and I decided to have Linda represent me.
She was very polite & professional not only to me but with my HOA throughout the negotiation process and at the end, she was able to obtain the HOA approval with avoiding an "Hearing" which would of been a lot more expensive.
She always puts her customer first and tries to minimize the legal expense for her client.
