I paid $400 for Hunter Sargent to prepare a simple deed document and file it with Denton county. After completing the document, I returned a copy to Hunter’s office. I emailed him days later to check the status. He replied saying it would be filled the 15th of that month and he said that he had no problem filing sooner of needed. I kindly asked him to file sooner given my situation. I received no reply to that email. I then emailed a month later asking him to at least confirm the document had been filed on the 15th of the prior month. Again, no response. Days later I called to ask again if it had been filed. I talked to the front desk who said he was not at his phone, but she would let him know, and he would call me back. A week went by and no phone call. Finally, I drove to the Denton county courts building myself and learned that Hunter had never filed the document. I paid to file the document myself with the court. Very poor experience and a waste of time and money to work with Hunter Sargent. Would not recommend.

Hunter and his team were very friendly and professional. Initially we had a zoom meeting consultation where he answered all of our questions. He helped us address them. At the second meeting we met him at his office in a convenient location in Denton. He had everything prepared and ready as specified. Very organized and seamless. New technology provided and made a copy of all our files on a USB keyring. Thanks again.
