The Law Offices of Ruben Ortiz where great. I was cited for speeding new Van Horn, Tx on Interstate 10. I hired them to represent me. The process took quite awhile, but they dealt with and took care of everything. Eventually they called me and notified me that my case was dismissed. I am very thankful for them and their services.

Everyone is very nice and helpful. The service is very good.

Regrettably, I was involved in a car accident where I was rear-ended. Initially, I had engaged another attorney, but due to a conflict of interest, I was unable to proceed with them. Upon a recommendation, I sought the services of Rubin and promptly signed with them. Although a significant portion of my treatment had been completed, I continued to experience physical discomfort and required further medical attention. Understanding that my legal case was essentially resolved and awaiting negotiation, I remained patient throughout the process. My attempts to seek updates on the status of my case were infrequent, with only occasional calls made, as I simply wished to stay informed. However, despite my efforts, I received little to no communication regarding the progress of my case. Even after contacting my paralegal, I found myself frustrated by the lack of action taken by Rubin's firm. Despite having prepared my case thoroughly and having received a Personal Injury Protection (PIP) check, my case remained open for over a year without any significant progress. Upon expressing my concerns to my paralegal, I was assured that Rubin would personally address my inquiries. However, to my dismay, my interaction with Rubin was marked by rudeness and a complete lack of interest in my case. He bluntly informed me that he was no longer interested in representing me and declined to offer any guidance or assistance. This abrupt dismissal left me feeling distraught and bewildered, as I sought clarity on why my case was being terminated without adequate explanation or support. Overall, my experience with Rubin's firm has been deeply disappointing and frustrating. The lack of communication, unprofessional conduct, and sudden termination of representation have left me feeling abandoned and unsupported during a challenging time.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The first words out of Ruben Ortiz mouth when consulting with them about my case were “we are pretty expensive so are you sure you can afford it.” Going forward, they had horrible communication, no plan of action that they deemed important enough to keep their employer (client) in the loop, and trying to get an in person conversation with the attorneys was so difficult that I never saw them except for the first time consult. When in conversation over the phone they were always “too busy” or condescending as if they were tired of one calling to keep updated on their case, I called maybe 3 times a year and only because I didn’t get the answers i needed the first time around. My case did get dismissed eventually but it was on the merit of time and covid because this went on for 4 years instead of “in no time” as they first told me. I’d recommend looking at all other options before settling with this office as they hold their interests ahead of their clients’.

I will recommend Mr. Ortiz to all my friends and family! Mr. Ruben Ortiz did a great job in getting my case dismissed. All of him and his staffs hard work paid off. And I’m very happy with the results because he helped me move on to the next part of my life, and I can put all this behind me. I will recommend Mr. Ortiz to all my friends and family!! If you’re in law enforcement don’t hire this guy. He will generalize you with the rest of the bad officers. He will be late to your court hearings and will do nothing more than the bare minimum. Hire other attorneys.

Honestly, the only place I’ve felt like my cases and claims are in good hands.
