Did good work, timely, efficient. Good people.

I’ll give a review on the other side for once. They were hired by my ex husband for our divorce and child custody battle. Rodney the paralegal always kept me informed and he was really professional and nice with any and all questions I had for him. He didn’t HAVE to do that, I wasn’t his client but I just wanna brag for a sec and give him some positive attention and a compliment. 🙂

Jared Julian is one of the most skilled mediators in the DFW area. As a family law attorney, I truly appreciate his attention to detail. He has the knowledge base to navigate complex property cases and drafts mediated settlement agreement that think of all the property related nuances. I have mediated with him when I have had very fragile clients and he has been tender with them. I also have mediated with him with very combative clients and he has been able to bring focus to them and navigate settlement despite complicated emotional issues.

From my experience, divorce proceedings, even without having to go to court, seemed like a small war, with unavoidable emotional, collateral damage, especially with kids involved. But, with the help of the Nelson Law Group’s entire team, in particular attorneys Brett Nelson and Nancy Bouajram, I came out the other side with a minimum of scathing. (I had used another firm first, and wish I’d started and finished with Brett and Nancy). Not only did they provide legal help, but advice from a quarter century of practice, and empathized with my particular family needs, and financial situation. While it did cost some money, at the end, I came out with a much better settlement than I’d hoped for. I never felt that I was being “gouged,” as I had with a previous firm. I wish I’d come here first. While there was bitterness on my part about getting divorced, Brett counseled me at our first meeting to take the high road when speaking with my kids. There have been times when his saying that has kept me on that path. When I was really down, Nancy would say, “There IS life after divorce.” Perhaps as a result of their advice, while my ex and I are certainly not buddybuddy, we can get along, especially where the kids are concerned, and have even traveled together twice with the kids. As you won’t be their only client, I learned to write bullet point type emails highlighting questions, concerns, and key needs. Brett and Nancy were excellent in addressing such emails, point for point, so that we were on the same page. It’s also the most cost efficient way to go. In finale, on the date of the divorce decree, Brett protected me for myself – by stopping me from making an unnecessary financial concession. Despite going through the hell of a divorce, after being led through the dark by Brett and Nancy, I would absolutely STILL get married again were the right situation to arise. John LaVine

The Julian Firm is absolutely incredible. I have had 2 lawyers prior to Julian and had a horrible experience. Not the Julian Firm. What makes them different is they actually care. Yes I know it's something simple but this is a rarity in the legal field I've found. Every interaction I had with his staff was friendly, professional, and human. During our case (specifically in mediation) it became very clear Julian is extremely well connected and has a lot of influence in this tight knit bubble.
