I’m so thankful for James and Abby. They took all the weight of my case off of me and made the whole thing a lot easier. I could not have chosen a better group of people to work on my case.

James helped me out tremendously as the paralegal! Jose was my attorney and I found the best! James was always reachable and kept in constant contact, and with Jose and him, I always knew what was going on and never had to worry. I highly recommend this firm!!

Before Mrs. Gray was Kaufman County Judge, she was an attorney in this office. She handled my divorce, and it was such a pleasure to work with her that I chose to come back to this firm when it came to changing the custody agreement for my child. The handling of my custody case was so poor, unprofessional, & misleading. I was spoken to by my attorney as if we were long-time friends cutting up & throwing f bombs like they're confetti. Although both parties were in agreement within 5months, the entire process was drawn out well over a year. Some time later when certain changes were supposed to go into place, an officer looking over the agreement with me noted how poorly it was written & how misleading/confusing it was. I contacted my attorney and he actually said “Yea, uhh I don't remember it saying that…” The entire experience was heart wrenching and horrible. Beware. Just because an attorney tells you all the things you want to hear in your first meeting, does NOT mean they know what they are doing & will fight for the best outcome. Disappointed is an understatement. I would never refer anyone to this firm.

After going through a divorce in 2008, I was without legal representation. After 13 years of hardship paying spousal maintenance to my ex wife, I reached out to Guest and Gray Law Firm, and had the honor and privilege of having Abby Spain represent me to get my divorce decree modified and get the spousal maintenance eliminated. We had a long process with lots of ups and downs... but I must say one of the people I had to deal with is Marie Decator, I cant says enough good things about this lady!!! Always very polite, always very kind and respectful in her emails and always , always got a fast response from her that is my case was very important to be. This review is a little late but back I believe in 14’ (bad times I’d like to forget) I enlisted the help of Mr Guest and they were totally professional and courteous and made a bad time much more manageable plus they were able to work with me in my unique set of circumstances to which I’m very thankful for and thought I should try to let it be known or share my experience there. Life has been good since.
