I went through an eviction process in JP Court and represented myself, (I am the Landlord). I was successful, ( I thought), and judgement was granted in my favor. Instead of moving out, tenant filed an appeal, to have the case re-tried in County Court. Tenant claimed COVID protections, CARES Act protections, among many other things, and was successful in getting an appeal granted. I learned real quick that because of the times we were currently experiencing, that this was going to be a complicated, uphill battle. I hired the Guest and Gray Law Firm to take this matter over. Scott Gray was great at getting this case together and ready for court. Robert Guest took it before the Judge and tried the case. What had been a months long horrible situation for me, was finally over, when these guys got the case before the Judge. Judgement was awarded in my favor and tenant had to vacate. These people are great, charged an extremely fair price, and did an outstanding job. Getting a case like this before a judge during these difficult times is a huge task. Getting a positive verdict even more so. Thank you Scott and Robert!

I was introduced to this law firm in 2016 after catching a civil case at the end of 2015. The firm was very patient and professional with me and my family during this time. My family and i were given direct instructions on how we could affordably retain their services. Needless to say they withheld their end of the deal! I recommend and suggest this law office to anyone having any legal problems. It felt like more than just business with how my case was handled! Chose this law firm based on reviews and initial consultation with the attorney. To say I am less than satisfied with the progress thus far is an understatement. Mediation was complete in November 2019 with an agreement for child support to begin January 2020. I have yet to receive any child support and non-custodial parent has ceased paying anything except half of medical costs. I had to call the attorneys office for an update myself and found out the opposing attorney was supposed to file the order (not sure this is accurate as I am getting two different stories, I was told it would save me money if the other attorney filed the order). Then they started correcting their mistake. I am being billed for every email, phone call etc I guess as they are making a mad dash to correct their mistake/lack in judgement. I believe we are up to about $800 at this point on top of what I have already paid. To top it all off, I finally receive a letter from the Attorney General's office addressed to my maiden name. So, I thought, this is odd. I called the AG office and was told there has been a mistake and it would need to be corrected to my current name. So, yet another delay and I am sure more fees to be racked up for another mistake. I called the office but the paralegal was to busy to take my call and I was instructed to email her which I did. She responded to the email and said she would look in to it. It's the afternoon of the following business day and I still have no answer. I have emailed again for an update. This has been a frustrating, unnecessarily drawn out process that has cost me a lot of hard earned money, time and still no child support. Update: Robert Guest promptly called me directly and handled my concerns and all issues have been resolved. The firm (Hannah, who is a very kind and professional woman) assisted with matters outside of their obligation and went above and beyond to make things right for my case. I have complete confidence there will be process changes within the firm to ensure something like this does not occur again. I changed my rating from one star to 4 star because of the prompt, expeditious and professional way the concerns/issues were handled.
