Mr. Steve Baker was able to amend my bond conditions for me to see my son again! He helped and answered my questions during the day and even late evenings, like 9PM! If he's willing to help me out that much during my pre-trial period, I have no doubt in my mind that he will go above and beyond for my case! He had plans with another member of the team to join my plea for, if the first attempt fell through, but his intellect on these cases was enough to help me see my son again! I allowed Varghese Summerset to take me under their wing and fight for my freedom under the suspicion of a DWI charge in Johnson county. I feel two stars is all the service was worth. Communication wasn’t the best. My arraignment was the first face to face interaction with my attorney, which he was late too. I was also told from my attorney that Johnson county is across the board no matter the circumstances of a DWI case. Therefore, everyone charged in Johnson county with a DWI is offered the same plea bargain regardless of the scenario. I do think Varghese Summerset has an excellent legal team and I do not completely fault the firm for the outcome. Johnson county has a reputation for being more authoritarian than other counties and their wasn’t much my attorney could have changed. Therefore, I primarily write this review to warn others that Varghese Summerset is not worth the $6,000 I paid them. Instead go with someone cheaper or free if you’re charged in Johnson county with a DUI/DWI.
