Over the past several years Ms. Morton has earned an outstanding reputation as a talented and highly professional immigration attorney, which is why my husband and I went to her for assistance through the Consular Process. Working with her was a pleasure - during the past year we were gathering documents (visa application, financial documents, supporting documents) and even though we live overseas, Ms. Morton made the process incredibly clear and straightforward. We held meetings over Skype, gathered original documents, shared files electronically, and despite the distance were able to easily communicate with her office when we wanted to request a call or meeting. For example, just prior to my husband's consular interview we scheduled a final Skype call to go over all the last details, ensure my husband's last minute nerves were calmed, and that we had everything in order. Ms. Morton's ability to speak both English (for me) and Spanish (for my husband) was incredibly helpful and comforting. She answered all of our questions and my husband was able to walk into his consular interview with confidence knowing that every document was in order and with a pretty good idea of what to expect. Ms. Morton made sure we were prepared for the most difficult of scenarios and in the end we were so prepared that the process felt like a breeze. Her assistance has been a blessing for our family and we absolutely recommend her services to anyone in need of immigration legal assistance.

As an immigration director on a local nonprofit, I often rely on local practitioners to assist with complicated cases or to refer clients that we do not have the capacity to serve ourselves. Ms. Morton has always been extremely generous with her time and skills when called upon. She is very knowledgeable and willing to help. I have been doing this work for over 12 years and I have never experienced this combination of skills and eagerness to assist. I am extremely grateful to her. I trust Ms. Morton completely and know that everyone that seeks her services will not be disappointed. I wholeheartedly recommend her.

I will start off by saying Margarita is VERY efficient, organized, detailed and a very thorough lawyer. She will view your case and tell you from the start if we have a good case to proceed. If not, she will not waste your time and money. She personally returns phone calls and emails herself, which i liked. We will forever be Thankful for all her hard work and dedication in my husband's case. He is now a Permanent resident! I highly recommend her to everybody. I can go on and on about Margarita but I will keep it at this. Thank you Margarita!!

Consulted the attorney to discuss paperwork needed by USCIS. She asked plenty of questions and made sure to address all the facts. Went through the paperwork step by step to ensure completeness. Great at explanations.

These guys are crooks and liars. They took my for over 10K, didn't get me ANYTHING. Then, when I ran out of money they told me I had to get a different attorney and suckered me into sending them a fax discharging them. I found out later, after not seeing my son FOR A YEAR that by law they have to represent me through the end of the divorce. In the end, I lost everything and went to jail because I didn't have enough money to pay child support. they also have judges on the payroll that they use in the arbitration that play some very twisted games. They also delete any review that doesn't say that they are wonderful. They even rip off US military dad's. If you call to complain, they bill you hundreds. DO NOT HIRE THESE CROOKS OR YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOU CHILDREN AGAIN. I tried to sue them but had to stop because I got a visit from some very shady people at my house "advising" I not do that. I'd give 0 stars but you have to pick one or you can't post this. Copy this post and send it to others as it will be deleted soon.

Have not used this firm. Bad taste from the beginning. $175 for a consultation!!! (outrageous!!) and the price per hour will "depend on the details of the case" never go with someone that is not upfront about how much they charge!!

Although divorce is not an easy process for anyone that has to go through it. I was fortunate my divorce was not as complicated or difficult as others, but my attorney Heather Ogier was very helpful and prompt when handling my case and answering my questions. I highly recommend if you ever have to go through a divorce to please contact Cordell & Cordell and request Heather Ogier. It is well worth it.

For some this is the worst of times. You'll want a firm to help you navigate through an otherwise gruesome process. The staff at Cordell and Cordell were always considerate of what their clients could be going through as a family. My attorney Heather Ogier, was very communicative (a trait that was absent with my last family attorney) throughout the whole divorce process! I would be the first to admit that my case was not the usual divorce case with stepchildren and CPS involvement. Heather answered my questions with care to my satisfaction.I never felt rushed on the phone or in person. I would recommend the law office to all fathers seeking family court representation in divorce. My experience has been everything that I'd hoped for in a divorce attorney and firm. My personal thanks to Heather Ogier for a stellar job thus far!

The offices and attorneys at Cordell & Cordell are simply amazing. My divorce was unusually complicated and incredibly stressful. My attorney, Katie Lewis, was an answer to a prayer. I will be forever grateful for her help during the most difficult time in my life. She always made me feel like my case was the most important thing she was working on. She was realistic, thoughtful, understanding, and caring... at least towards me... I'm pretty sure that my ex-wife's attorney felt differently. In fact, I'm pretty sure my ex-wife's attorney was completely intimidated by her. There is no doubt that my divorce would have had a different outcome had it not been for Katie Lewis and the offices of Cordell & Cordell. Thank you for all the good that you do!
