My lawyer was Robert Cowie. My case went on for over 2 years. The DA kept offering my pleas after pleas and I kept refusing them because none of them were a dismissal. I knew my innocence and refused to become a statistic and agree to a pleas just to close the case. My lawyer Mr. Cowie was patient the whole time and believed in my innocence and that the charges made no sense . It was the perfect storm where I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. So I became the perfect person to pin the crime on. I knew my truth and refused to settle for what I deserved. After fighting for so long, being embarrassed and taken off a flight from Aruba because of a warrant I had no idea about when it came to this case. Being forced to check in every week with bail bonds like a criminal, not being offered positions because of my background check etc was all worth it when Mr. Cowie called me on 12/5/22 to tell me the District Attorney dismissed ALL charges. The fight was worth it. Don’t ever feel you have to settle. If you want a patient lawyer who believes in you and patient the call Dunham & Dunham and ask for Mr. Robert Cowie.
