Two mediations with Mark as my attorney, and I still was not provided my ex's income or proof of retirement amount. Clever move forcing me to sign the mediation agreement by threatening to fire me as a client less than 2 months before the final court date...because he knew I couldn't afford to hire a new attorney. Sidenote: He threatened and filed to fire me because I DARED to be upset that he wanted me to sign a mediation agreement without my ex's financial info. What a peach. I have it recorded. May not be admissible, but I have it. I got LESS than the standard child support and zero of my ex's (of 24 years) pension, which is thousands more than mine. Guess I will work until I die while my ex lives the high life. I wish I had know sooner he was buddies with my ex's attorney friends.

WORST attorney you could hire. He is only interested in the paycheck. The only time you will ever speak to him if he is asking for payment. 100 percent do not recommend. When people say lawyers are the worst kind of people this is the man they are referring to.

Mark Lane has been the #1 divorce attorney for several years, running for a reason.

Not the attorney he says he is. Terrible communication unprofessional office. Never had my best interest in mind. Trying to hold him accountable to do what was necessary for my case resulted in him firing me! My case was a two year divorce that finally ended with an outstanding attorney with a favorable outcome.

Mr. Lane did amazing with my case! He and his staff were very helpful and took the time to understand my situation. I had one day to find an attorney, I called Marks office a little after closing and he listened to my situation AND went to court for me the next morning. We got the best possible outcome. Highly recommend!

This guys a horrible Lawyer. His office is close to the court house, yet shows up late to court. I never received the paperwork stating I had visitation rights. I got sued for 2 years back support, yet had proof I took care of my kids & their Mom for that time. There's much better Lawyer's in Texas. Unfortunately Texas doesn't care about Father's seeing their kids, or about their financial situations. Kids Mom has 4 bedroom house & 4 cars.

Awful service he dropped my daughter case for 2 of my grandchildren never onhave I talked with Mark only the person at the front desk anwerinthe phone never have i been abusive towards any of his staff nor him if you didn't k own what you were doing you shouldn't had taken her money she's a single parent that money came from hard work! Just because you sit on city council doesn't make you a good lawyer you should had recommended her to another lawyer you are a joke and don't ever call anybody abusive when all they were doing was asking questions on an an ongoing case of 3 years so what were yall doing all of these years

Great attorney

Mark Lane was my divorce attorney in 2019 and a damn good one. I was driving when I saw him putting out signs outside his new office and stopped by to say hi and thank him again. He really deserves all the praise. Mark Lane kept me safe when things got rough and scary after I filed. Mark is tough, not one to “play” with and doesn’t tolerate b.s. which is what I needed to get out of my divorce safely. He’s known as the “tough divorce attorney” among other attorneys- that’s why I hired him!!! If you want an attorney who will go to bat for you and keep you safe if needed- seriously don’t think twice. Just hire him. You won’t regret it.

He is ABSOLUTELY the most terrible attorney anybody can ever hire. I HIGHLY recommend literally going with anybody else that isn't Mark. He comes off strong and acts like he will do everything in your best interest, but that all just an act, you will soon sadly realize that all he will you as is a paycheck and nothing more, for 6 month he did absolutely nothing but lie to my mother and I. He is also very disrespectful and rude. His communication skills are the worst, and it does not help that the rest of his staff is horrible when it comes to communication. Luckily I was able to find myself an attorney that is actual capable of doing his job and he was able to do more in 1 week than Mark ever did in 6 months. AGAIN I would HIGHLY suggest to never hire Mark and get yourself an attorney that will actually did their job.
