Great experience!

Douglas became my business accountant when my previous accountant moved and sold his clients. He was adequate for my business which was small, but his slow response was always a challenge. In 2022, he missed filing for my business despite my follow up emails, messages in his accounting platform and voicemail all of which he never responded to. When I asked for an itemized break down of the invoice I received, he still didn't respond. 1 year later he resent the invoice, and responded to my questions. It's frustrating to know that my questions were never answered during the filing period regarding the status of the tax forms despite me following his schedule and protocol for uploading all of the information and files that he needed to complete the project. The excuse he gave was that because of the inactivity in my business he didn't need to file taxes that year. It would have been helpful to know that in a response to any of my previous messages regarding the status of the filing. It's also disconcerting that my business has had several years of inactivity, which he prepared a form for and invoiced me.

Doug has done our taxes for years and years. Always so helpful and pleasant to work with!

Communication is almost non existent so far. Sent to a dive downtown for treatment that is transitioning to another service. 2 months and no word, unless we call, & then have to ask legal assistant to DO something. Never have spiken w the actual lawyer.
