Lauren has provided sound legal counsel for past 2+ years in various aspects of our personal (family) and professional life. She is very talented, and patient with me in particular, as I want (and act) like I know everything.

This attorney is only a symptom of the corruption prevalant with the Collin County court system. This is a woman who claims to want to help the custodial parent get an equitable amount of child support during a divorce proceeding, yet represents deadbeat non-custodial parents and claims they have no job or assets, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. This attorney tells blatant lies within the courtroom and has absolutely no shame. I have serious questions about her mental stability. To those considering an attorney in a family law matter, I would strongly recommend staying away from Ms. Cain!

Ms. Cain was the opposing counsel in my divorce. Exactly as per the other reviews, I can confirm she held up the process: never in any office, didn't return phone calls, unresponsive to email and fax from my attorneys office. She was ALWAYS "out of town" or "on vacation". Once we were able to agree on our own and had a prepared final agreed decree - she was unresponsive. I found her to be unprofessional and very unimpressive. I would strongly recommend anyone considering her to continue their search elsewhere.

I would somewhat agree with the other reviews. Helping someone with their divorce, she made the decree to benefit the other party more than the party she represented, some of it including alimony insisting on only filing it to help the other party and loss of a huge tax deduction. She is very hard to get ahold of, or get any return calls.

DO NOT USE HER!!ONCE SHE RECEIVED MY RETAINER SHE PROLONG MY CASE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. I HAD TO THREATEN HER WITH THE BAR ASSOCIATE TO RECEIVE A RETURN CALLS. AFTER SEVERAL MONTH OF WAITING AND WAITING. I HAD TO FILED MY OWN PAPERWORK AND REPRESENT MYSELF. SHE IS ONLY AFTER YOUR MONEY!!!!
