I live in New Mexico but had to probate a will in Texas. I began with another lawyer but nothing ever got resolved. When I contacted Ted Ogilvie that all changed. Within a short time we had a court date and the probate completed.

Mr. Ogilvie resolved my divorce that had been stagnate for over 3 years. He stepped into overwhelmingly bad odds, moved the case forward and obtained a favorable settlement for me.

Selecting an attorney is an arduous task. While researching Ted Ogilvie, two things caught my attention. His ability to handle difficult situations with eloquence and produce a positive outcome and he’s an attorney who prefers the collaborative method of resolving legal disputes. That’s rare. I retained Ted Ogilvie as my attorney because I was looking for someone different, someone who I could align with philosophically, and who I could partner with to get through a challenging and difficult divorce. From the minute we started working together, I recognized that Ted was exactly what I was looking for. He is genuine, honest, caring, and he always had my best interest at heart. Ted and his team were amazing at preparing my case and making sure I was ready to face the scariest day of my life. My child has, unfortunately, been without a father for a few years and I had enough of his father’s instability and broken promises so I went to Mr. Ogilvie. From day one he made me feel like I was family and I felt safe and secure moving forward through court proceedings with him by my side. He and his team took time to prepare me and ensure I would be comfortable on the stand speaking about our situation. As scary as it was, answering another lawyers accusatory questions, I felt confident knowing that Ted and his team had my back. After a rough 7 months of dealing with a lawyer who had no concern for my wants and had no time to listen to what I said, I was blessed to find Mr. Ogilvie. No one dreams to divorce much less for their divorce to be messy one. My previous lawyer had drained me financially, physically and mentally. Their only concern was how could THEY get more, not make this process as quick and painless as possible. When I met Mr. Ogilvie, I instantly got a feeling of calm and peace. I could tell that what concerned me concerned him and that he would do everything he could to get me the results I was looking for. So, it was no surprise that after 3 months, he got me the results I desired. He moved quickly and intently in everything. I would recommend Mr. Ogilvie highly. He is very professional and knowledgeable on all things family and divorce law and will strive to do his best to get the results you are looking for. He is truly the best and working with him was one of he best experiences in my life. His staff was also professional and on top of things.

Ted Ogilvie shatters the stereotype one might think of when it comes to attorneys. He is kind, patient, caring, compassionate, honest, hard working and will go to bat for you. He looks out for your interests above his own. I cannot say enough good things about him.

Over that last 17 years Ted has been a great resource to my clients. He is compassionate and understanding when a client is in a time of crisis. Ted is there to help during a divorce or other family law matter.

Mr. Ogilvie has been my attorney for many years and I have never had any issues. He has always been very understanding, calm, and reasonable.
