Have you ever whooped someone's @ss that really deserved it? I have, many times as a do-goodin' minor growing up in rural east Texas. But only twice as an adult. The first time I was in Air Force basic training. There were zero consequences back then when surrounded by men preparing for war. The second time, much later, I dropped a menace to society and a poor excuse for a man to the gravel where he belonged. The law, instead of thanking me for my help, pressed for charges against me and let the fool sleep off his drunken felony in the comfort of his home. At least for the first night... The next three nights he was free to sleep it off in the comfort of a hospital bed. (The bloodied one knew he was wrong and did not press for charges). I spent a night in jail without a day in court all because an elected official (Forget his name.... Judge Jack Dreddy or something like that) misunderstood the saying, "justice is blind". I was alleged to have committed "Assault with Bodily Injury". I was inclined to challenge the DA to a manly duel, but I was informed that that is not actually a legal option. Sad... Thankfully, I was encouraged by a family member to hire Mr. Mark Metzger to defend me. Our current justice system may be blind, but Mr. Mark Metzger is not. I don't know what happened in the courtroom, because I wasn't there. Mark was there... He just notified me when it was dropped....

I was charged with interfering with a public servant. After speaking with the judge he told me that I could face up to 180 days in jail and at that time I knew I had a problem and needed professional representation. I called Mark explained what happened he looked up the charge and wanted the case. After he explained to me what the police officers did wrong and what he was going to do it was like a ton bricks was lifted off my shoulders. After he spoke with the judge on the first court date he got it dismissed with no probable cause. Without his knowledge of the law there’s no telling how long this could have gone on. He’s absolute greatest!

I’ve heard of this lawyer all over Galveston and the Houston area for years so it was kind of a no brainer. He is a gentle giant with a strong hand. He’s skills are like automatic. In seconds he already knows what to do and he follows through. He is trustworthy and precise. Honestly his worth can not be measured. I was proud to call him my lawyer. I’ve never seen anything like it. He knows the ins and outs of court and he will protect you and take the stress away. After going to court for almost two years, due to a DA who didn’t seem to have their act together and at every hearing kept rescheduling or needed something, he was able to get the entire thing dismissed. First off let me state his business card says right there B.A.M.F and he comes thru straight forward to the point. I was so worried when i got my second DWI even though it was about 8 years apart I was going into depression and worried. Mr. Metzger took all the worry away from me and told me he would fight for me to let him take the burden off my shoulders I felt immediate relief knowing he was in my corner going to battle, my case lasted 2 years due to Covid and Resets.
