I talked to quite a few other people before selecting Lori Watson as my divorce attorney. When I met with her I knew right away that she was what I was looking for--intelligent, competent, professional and well-versed in her field, yet caring, empathetic and personable. She listened and asked questions that mattered. I remember feeling so relieved and confident when I left her office--I just knew that I would be in good hands with her in charge of my divorce after 37 years of marriage. I really can't say enough positive things about the excellent job Lori did for me with my divorce. She was very receptive to all of my questions and consistently responded personally, and in a timely fashion. In fact, there were many occasions when she actually went well above and beyond, working over the weekend to get something completed for me. I was beyond impressed and truly thankful that God placed her in my path at just the right time. She made a challenging experience in my life go much better than I thought possible. Atty. Lori Watson handled my case in 2019. She is very caring, organized, honest and patient. This 5 star is not enough to describe how good Ms. Watson. She is very knowledgeable, she will study your case very well and prepare you for your court day. She is not my lawyer anymore but from time to time if I have legal questions, she still reply. She check with me and my kids from time to time. I just love her! 10 star for this attorney!!!

I trusted Ms. Watson to give me good counsel and to fight for my interests and my children's interests, especially since I have a severely disabled child. She told me that going to mediation would be the best option. At mediation, my x-husband's attorney ran the show, and Ms. Watson literally never fought for a single thing that we had previously discussed. One of the things I wanted was to remain in the house for as long as I could, possibly 6 years until my youngest graduated from high school, before I had to pay out half of the value of the house to my X or sell. Instead, she worked against me trying to convince me that I should just try to get a loan and pay him out in 18 months even though she knew I had a 2 year old bankruptcy. My kids and I would have ended up on the streets in 18 months if I had listened to her. I ended up having to hold my ground as best as I could on my own to get 4 years, but not without Ms. Watson allowing the other side to take away part of my standard child support for those 4 years. What was in the best interest of my children and my ability to provide for them was never even brought up. I was convinced to sign off on everything at mediation, so I never even had a chance to go before a reasonable judge. I received the worst representation ever, and I would not recommend Ms. Watson to anyone.

Lori Watson is that person you want. She was very knowledgeable, listened to my situations, asked great questions I never thought of, and put together a game plan. She is excellent at communication using email or seeing me on short notice. Additionally, her staff is very professional and always worked to get me taken care of. All-in-all Lori made a trying time seem doable and reassured me that it would happen as easy as possible.

Lori did an outstanding job handling my recent divorce. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I was referred by my boss to contact Lori . Going through a divorce for the very first time , I didn't know what to expect or even how to start the process. I called to make a consultation , and got in to see her within a few days. We spent an hour talking and she listened and was very compassionate to my situation. After about a week I put down my retainer fee and from that point forward she stayed in contact with me most of the time through emails and an occasional phone call. She was patient and walked me through things I didn't understand. Lori suggested a few things to me that would be beneficial to me and my kids throughout the divorce which I appreciated so much !!
