If you are facing a terrible situation with an ex-spouse or soon to be ex-spouse, you want Mr. Tenorio on your side. Robert helped me and my family through a 3 ½ year battle where my narcissistic ex tried to alienate my children from me and literally ruin me by making claims that were not true. I was terrified, but Robert was calm. He saw right through my ex and took him down on the stand in front of the whole courtroom. The judge saw my exes' true colors quite clearly after that. While I can say that I am quite glad it is all behind me now, I am ever so happy to have had Mr. Tenorio as my constant counsel and confidant through this ordeal. If you are afraid, stop crying and call Mr. Tenorio and get to work. He will see you through it and you will come out on top. Mr. Tenorio will make sure the truth is known. Once the truth is out, it is a mighty benefactor. I would give Robert Tenorio 10 stars if I could.

Robert supported our daughter's family situation by being a great listener and with a phenomenal presence in court. We attended several meetings with our daughter and Robert and ultimately testified on her behalf. Robert did a great job preparing us for our time in court encouraging us to be honest and be ourselves. He also helped us understand what the opposing lawyer was liking to challenge us in court. Robert listened SO well to all of our comments and concerns. He assimilated all of our input into a very concise and powerful presentation in court. He also exhibited a strong ability to react to the dynamics of a court proceeding with quick thinking as needed. He also exhibited great confidence and respect of everyone in the courtroom (including the opposing party) which helped influence the final result. We were extremely pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Robert to support and represent your family's best interests in a court of law.

I received news about my child that truly broke my heart and required immediate action. At 7:00 o'clock in the evening, Robert answered and accepted to help me without hesitation. The following day he was able to obtain a custody order, removing my child from her terrible situation and safely in my home. However, Robert went above and beyond the normal proceedings of a Family Lawyer. Within 24 hours he had not only found a counselor for my child but was able to convince them into making us an appointment. Within 48 hours and hearing the worst, I was able to begin moving my child's life back in the direction she deserved. The best! It's been 4 months since that nightmare began and because of Robert's diligence, hard work and attention to detail regarding his client and their family, my case has been settled and my child's future is secure. I'll never have enough words to express my gratitude for what he did for me. I consider Robert to be a true gentleman and friend.

Mr. Tenorio (we call him Robert), was brought onto our legal team after a lengthy wait for a trial date in my son's custody case. I was seeking more visitation time, more rights and more guidance for both parents in a final visitation order. Robert took time to meet with our other attorney, myself, and my wife, on a regular basis prior to our court date. He read every piece of paper, reviewed each log, and looked at every photograph in order to catch up on information and to be the best prepared. His preparations for trial and his courtroom focus were always on giving my son's needs and his story a voice. It was never made to be about myself. When things became 'tense' during trial, Robert was always calm and collected. His expertise at determining what should and should not be given time during trial helped to ensure we got what we came for. The most important quality Mr. Tenorio possesses is empathy. Not only did he agree with the concerns I had for my son, but he felt them and he fought for my son as if he were his own child. He didn't badger the other side, he didn't lie or exaggerate, he didn't even yell or scream. Robert used his vast knowledge of the legal world and the compassion in his heart for families to help my son receive the family time and personal care he needs to be the best version of himself as he gets older. We won't ever be able to express enough how much Robert's hard work means to our family. We know that Mr. Tenorio will always be available should we need him again and that leaves us with a strong sense of security for the future.

Worst attorney in Texas. Does not return phone calls. Did not show up to court, sent his "partner" who knew nothing about my very complicated case. Did not follow through on basic things like discovery. I eventually had to fire him and start over with a competent Attorney. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!

I was a waitress and met Robert at a restaurant. When he handed me his card I noticed it said law practice on it. I immediately broke into tears when he told me he practiced family law. I had been bullied for two years by the opposing party and had just about lost all hope for my custody case. I retained Mr. Tenorio for the first time in 2006. I was in a emergency situation with my husband, and new to DFW. I found Mr. Tenorio, spoke with him and I was in his office within a hour. Beaten down, a physical mess and very shook up. When I arrived , he was very knowledgeable about my situation. He stopped his morning and got me to the courthouse fast. Within a few hours, I was able to go back to my house and had my spouse removed . The depositions went wonderful , he was at my side through everything. I could not have retained a better lawyer or person, who truly cares about my outcome! To date, I have retained Mr. Tenorio again.... He has helped my daughter, worked on my parents estate & now me again. I am now disabled from a bad surgery and my husband just divorced me because of my health. He took all the household funds and left me in a horrible situation. This extremely difficult case was handled with such expertise and care. Robert Tenorio has saved me from my health getting worse, due to the fact that this man knows what he is doing!!!!!! Yes, this takes time, but I would rather have a lawyer that knows his business... Robert is excellent if you just need papers filed. He can divorce you and get a reasonable settlement. When it comes to trial law or custody suits he is an amateur. He is dwarfed be professional attorneys in his field which he specializes in. He expects large payments, talks a good talk yet when it comes to trial he allows his clients to hang out and dry. He makes no objections to obvious situations and is completely inadequate in defense. I would not recommend anyone use Robert as a trial lawyer. If you want to get divorced, go for it. He might get you a good settlement but he is not aggressive enough for his chosen field.
