Scott and Kendall are Amazing!! They are knowledgable and helped us get to a positive outcome!!!!

From the first encounter with Scott, I knew he would be the attorney to represent me. Throughout the almost 3 year continuously contested divorce, Scott was professional, kind, compassionate, and understanding with me. Even though he is highly skilled and educated, he makes you feel like you are an equal intellectually, and if there is something you don’t understand, he will explain it to you in a very kind and patient way. Kendall was also a joy to work with! You leave feeling cared for and heard.

My daughter was going through an ugly child custody battle. Scott and Kendall absolutely went over and above to assure the child was placed with the correct parent. They actually care about the child, and not the money! So very rare these days! Kuddos to Scott and Kendall, the best of the best!!

I was referred to Scott from a colleague. I initially completed a consultation to see what my options were in preparation of a possible custody battle. I was very pleased with his professionalism and knowledge. I wanted to pursue full custody but did not think I had a chance at all with Texas being pro-woman in most situations and experience from a previous custody battle in another county. Scott was very confident in pursuing full custody and ensuring that my rights as a father would be enforced. I walked out of my consultation feeling great but decided to go against his recommendation to file for custody before my children’s mother decided to do so. A couple months later, I was served with custody paperwork from the AG. I again consulted with Scott thinking that I did not have a chance at full custody and that I just wanted my rights enforced as a father. Scott again reassured me that I should push for full custody and that he would do his very best to ensure that if I didn’t get full custody that he would push for me having more rights to my children than just a standard possession order. I never doubted his judgement and agreed. Scott took care of the counter petition, ensured that my rights as a father were enforced so that I was able to see my children in the due process before court, and helped guide me through the entire process. We started with trying to hire an amicus attorney to avoid a trial but couldn’t reach a mutual agreement. Instead, we were forced to hire a home study. Scott provided me with homework to help him with my case that was paramount in the final decision. I provided Scott and Kendall with tons of detailed documentation that were later used in court to assist. This same documentation was provided to the home study along with the home study’s requested documentation. The home study ruled in my favor! Once in court, Scott ensured that the right evidence was shown during the trial. The judge ruled in my favor and granted me full custody of my children! I do not think this would have been the case if I would have hired a different attorney. Scott and Kendall are an amazing team and they are highly recommended!

I hired Scott to help with a custody battle after being served. Scott took care of the counter petition, and helped guide me through the process. Scott and Kendall were able to sift through those notes and consolidate them into a list of facts that mattered the most before going to trial. Scott made sure the right evidence was shown during the trial, proving all of my claims to the court. The final ruling granted everything I asked for. You can't always gauge how a trial will go. Even if the ruling had not granted what I had asked, I would not have held that against Scott or Kendall. I believe they did a great job organizing the evidence presented, and then fighting for what's right at the legal level. I hope the need doesn't arise again, but if it does this team will be the first one I try to hire.

Scott and Kendall make best legal team that you could want front and center defending you. My case lasted almost a year and a half, and during that time they listened to everything I had to say, made me feel heard, and treated me like family. Their hard work and dedicated efforts got me everything and more when it came time for the verdict. You can’t go wrong with Scott Cornuaud.

I hired Scott when it became necessary for me to finally file for divorce after separation and any attempts at amicable cooperation were exhausted. My ex and I originally separated because I “came out of the closet.” As a homosexual man, I was concerned that I could possibly run into discrimination or awkwardness when finding representation. Scott and Kendall were nothing but professional. I was always treated with respect, care and dignity. My ex was attempting to get awarded spousal maintenance. Not only was Scott able to demonstrate why spousal maintenance was not necessary, he was also able to effectively argue in court for me to retain the entirety of my retirement account. Scott was reasonable on his fee for representing me, with no hidden or surprise fees. He will not waste your time or his to rack up hours. We communicated via email and phone as necessary, but not in excess. If you leave messages and send emails, they will get answered. Hiring Scott was probably one of the best investments I have ever made.
