My husband had a complicated immigration case and we had other attorneys tell us there was no hope for him BUT Yalila reviewed our case and was willing to fight for us. Attorney Guerrero has done an outstanding job with my husbands case. He was in immigration holding for 6 months on a criminal charge from several years ago and he was granted residency, with hard work and dedication from Guerrero it was possible without her I honestly don’t know how the outcome would have turned out . We interviewed a few attorneys to make sure we picked the best fit to represent our mother in court. I would highly recommend Yalila E. Guerrero. When my family and I hired her to help us with my brother's case she explained to us exactly what he was getting charged with, she was always there when we had a question, she would always answer back our emails and phone calls. I admit my brother's case was a very difficult case because it involved him as a third party of a aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, she never promised us he would walk out of this, but she did everything in her knowledge to put her case the best way she could, thanks to her knowledge and her effort my brother was given probation, to a case where the ADA was offering 60 years in TDCJ.

Yalila E. Guerrero is one of the best kept secrets in the lawyer realm in Houston, Texas. Ms. Guerrero defended my daughter who was charged with Accessory to Capital Murder because she was in the car when an aquaintance of my daughter's boyfriend shot and killed him. Ms. Guerrero was so kind and compassionate and subsequently got the charges dropped against my daughter. The incident happened in Fort Bend County and Fort Bend is known for their hard ball police tactics, but Ms. Guerrero knows the law and she believed my daughter when other attorneys believed she was guilty before they even met her. At the time, Ms. Guerrero was working for one of the most high profile criminal attorney in the state, but if I needed a criminal defense attorney, she would be my first choice.
