We retained this attorney for our car accident. Worst decision ever. It’s been more than a year. The paralegal is a joke. And the receptionist doesn’t know anything about anything. You can’t get an appointment to see the attorney. You can’t get the attorney on the phone. And the paralegal gives you his BS strategy that amounts to nothing. They stopped therapy in December last year after only two weeks. Then suddenly the entire office staff was no longer there according to the new paralegal he was now running the show but NOTHING happened since.

Lots of money with minimum legal work done or finished. Has receptionist bartering for money. Very unprofessional Double charging!!!

I see the previous review about this attorneys political affiliation. First the poster does not even say if he was an actual client or not. Secondly, I hate to bearer of bad news. But all attorneys and judges support some political party. And there are only two main parties which have two mainstream ideology. It’s the judges job to make a decision based in law. I doubt a judge would throw out their whole career for Rick Ramos. That said he represented my husband in a civil matter and this attorney is a very hard core litigator. However he can’t not work miracles. I think some people have an unrealistic expectation of results from an attorney. Hiring an attorney does not guarantee the results you want. And for the woman who talks about her daughter’s situation. Though I am compassionate to the situation, I’m certain there is a reason that is based in law and the best interest of the child which can explain why your daughter can’t see her child. In know that there were times when we resisted ricks advice but ultimately he explained that whether we like it or not. The law regarding are issue would only allow certain remedy and strategy. We trusted him and we are satisfied with the results.

If so many complaints about this dishonest lawyer. How come the bar association has not reviewed any of them.? And the way he operates in complicity with judges.? He can not perform as he does with out complicity from the courts. His records show dishonesty ,malice and fraud . As many clients mention. Some judges and defense lawyers that have defended clients against Ramos belong to the same group ,all of them members of the Republican Party. So there is a sort of fraternity that should be investigated. The result: families that did not enjoyed fairness in court and lawyers that extract as much money out of their clients as they can. Later on,not accounting for it. With terrible results for the children involved. And a terrible loss for their clients. In some cases not allowing one of the parties to present witnesses. And allowing to prove cases of infidelity. Denying the victims of a fair trial. The court here abuses the victims again . The problem is deeper when our courts are in complicity with dishonest lawyers.

Please don't hire this lawyer to handle any of your business. I hired him for my daughter because we have been fighting to get her son back since he was 3 months he is now 1yrs old no results he took my money then he withdrew from our case no explanation we don't know what's going on with the case no one will tell us anything. I have tried to call him my daughter tried he won't answer calls nor return them. He is a fast talking crook don't trust him l won't my money back and he needs to be reported to the bar association. We still don't have my grandson and it's been so hard on us especially my daughter

Rick Ramos is a sleazy lawyer with no morals or values. He is more willing to charge high rates and complicate issues that could be resolved rather easily. He tried to trade my kids in a divorce as if they were pawns. He has low morals and ultimately cares about advancing his own family’s social standards than saving your family from unfortunate divorce circumstances.

I have personal knowledge that Mr. Ramos has no self control and has a history of beating up women.

Mr. Ramos is my family lawyer. He represented me in a jury trial for a modification of my Decree. He was amazing in trial. Well prepared and organized. Knew the issues thoroughly. A bulldog on cross examination. Has a great paralegal (Jeri Oakley) who is calm and experienced and organized. They won me the exclusive right to determine the primary residence of my boys, and after 9 years, my ex has to pay me child support. I wish I had Mr. Ramos back in 2010 when I filed for divorce initially.

I hired Rick Ramos for my court date, he did not show up and case was settled. He told me I would get my refund and now ignores my messages and emails. PLEASE HELP with this.

I retained Rick for a complex and rather ugly modification and enforcement against me that spanned a few years. He is considered one of the best family lawyers in Houston. He's also very expensive and retainers are high. He does not itemize bills and does not bill in full on a monthly basis. As an attorney, he's great. He's well versed in case law, which greatly helped me. He is thorough and recalls details. Communication was decent. I had his cell and he would answer or text when needed. His office responds in a decent amount of time. I felt like he got my situation and genuinely cared to protect me and my interests. He helped me dodge false claims, exaggerated enforcements and a whole lot of nonsense. But it cost me a fortune.
