I would highly recommend using Michael Mercer for any legal work needed. Michael expressed concern and urgency regarding my case and handled my legal issues in a very professional manner. I never had to follow up with him on the details of my case as he was always the one to keep me informed. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I am not one to leave reviews for good or bad service, but Michael most certainly deserves this one! I will definitely hire him again should anything come up in the future.

Mercer and Keirnan are the BEST criminal defense attorneys in Houston. I was referred to them from a family member, whose friend used them well over a decade ago. These guys have been around and know what they are doing! Michael Mercer is your advocate in defending your rights. Upon first meeting him, he was not only personable, understanding and knowledgeable, but totally transparent-which I truly appreciated being my first time needing legal representation. They handled my case with minimal interruptions to my daily routine. Our conversations were concise and meaningful-I always felt reassurance in knowing what to expect next. Michael Mercer was a miracle sent from god on my case. The best lawyer ever. This man was very professional , He didn’t come to play , He meant business. I was fighting 3 charges . I had a blue warrant out for my arrest. I violated probation by picking up 2 Additional charges. Michael got me a nine arrest bond on a first degree felony , and mind you this man got my probation reinstate it . then got my other two charges dismissed. I’m so thankful for Michael Mercer . I couldn’t have did it with out him . I will refer Mr. Michael to everyone that need attorney help . I highly recommend this lawyer firm . The best in the game .

We hired Mekisha to handle our case and she was terrific. Great communication, always keeping us updated along the way. The case was settled in the most favorable way possible, we simply could not have had a better result. I believe that her experience and reputation within the District Attorneys office was a major factor in getting the case dismissed. She also worked tirelessly with us on the information packet for the Grand Jury, making changes where important and making sure we had the best end product. I really appreciate her tenacity and perseverance and I am sure that these traits paid dividends in our case. Amazing Defense Attorney

My Wife is being falsely accused by family members who have now recanted their statements. I retained Mr Mercer as counsel and he has been honest and upfront with my wife and I. It is common in family violence cases for victims to recant their statements for various reasons even when the party is indeed guilty. Because of this fact prosecutors often continue to seek prosecution even after the alleged victims recant their statements. In this case the parties involved are simply choosing to tell the truth. I am confident Mr Mercer will work hard and diligently to give us the best outcome for the situation. I recommend Mr Mercer to anyone innocent or guilty to fight for you.

My parents found Allen while I was still in prison about to be released to a felony detainer in Houston for forgery. Allen was extremely kind and helpful to my parents who were unfamiliar both with this process and the Houston area itself. Allen was kind enough to drive them to and from the bail bondsman and the hotel they were staying so they would know how to get around. I had a no bond case and Allen still managed to get me a bond set and I was released the very next morning after I arrived. He has kept in good contact since my release and has always made me feel very confident that he was truly working for me. He called last night to let me know he got my case dismissed. Wow! I never had to worry about anything, Allen was on top of it the whole way. The very reasonable one time fee we paid for Allen to take my case was all that was ever asked of me even after he had gotten it dismissed. I even offered to pay extra and he declined. Allen went above and beyond our expectations and we are very grateful. Thanks, again Allen.

I am not allowed to provide a higher rating than 5 stars, but am able to provide this written review. Ms Walker was hired to defend a very close friend in a criminal assault case that included a violence protection order. I live in Maryland and my friend's daughter-in-law researched lawyers on the internet. We just had a hunch she would be the right attorney and we were right. Ms Walker spent a substantial amount of time on the phone, texting, and email with us - several times a week. I estimate at least 50 hours just with me. She was patient and empathetic, and available. Over several weeks we were able to work with her to put together a comprehensive "grand jury package". The package contained character references, evidence and most importantly a "silver bullet" report from a private investigator. She obtained body cam footage from the investigating officers that showed they were uncertain about the guilt of my friend at the time of her arrest. The prosecutir was unwilling to dismiss the charges based upon this excellent package, but, when the package was presented to the grand jury they refused to indict and the case was over.
