I had the unfortunate experience of being charged with a second offense of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI 2nd) following a traffic accident that was witnessed by a police officer. We hired Emily to represent my brother on a Capital Murder case. She was paid 50k. She made many promises and assured us that he was in good hands and that we had nothing to worry about at all. That she knew what she was doing. She visited my brother one time in jail since last year and has failed to communicate with us and him on what is going on. He was offered a plea deal that he had no idea about it what to do when he went to court. She has constantly threaten my family that she is removing her self off case cause she doesn’t like for us to ask questions. She thinks someone is always out to get her. Hiring her has caused more stress and worries than anything. She cant even remember a conversation we had the day before which makes us wonder what’s really going on. She constantly speaking down on us every chance she gets and blocks us for contacting her which is very unprofessional. At this point we don’t even know what she really had been doing on the case.

EMILY likes to block her clients. She request that you pay upfront but once you do, the communication will stop. Any questions that you may ask she’ll consider as you ranting, and not having faith in her. She will deliberately ignore you and talk down to you once she receives her retainer fee. She is currently being reported to the bar for her unprofessional behavior. Save your money and invest in a good attorney, who is going to respect you and do everything I can, and their power to represent you to the best of their ability because EMILY will not do that for you.

Little to no communication. She hates answering questions for clients that have already paid her to do her job. Emily blocks clients who ask too many questions. Avoid at all costs! Save your money and hire a better lawyer! Emily, do better!

Well, for starters, she didn't pay me. Next, she's charged with family violence against her boyfriend. Then there is her substance abuse issues - alcohol and drugs. And if anyone posts a "good" review, it's probably because she asked them to. She asked me but I do not engage in those kinds of antics

Emily kept her word and stuck by me throughout the pandemic. She was able to negotiate my charge down to probation rather than 2 years TDCJ and is assisting me in transferring my probation to another county. Emily carries herself in the most professional manner and works around the clock for her clients.

She took my sisters divorce case. We gave her $3k…I helped my sister with the money. When it came time to meet with her, we showed up for the meeting, she wasn’t there. We called and texted and she never returned our calls or text. My sister NEVER met her, never had any kind of initial sit down or meeting. The day of the trial she told my sister not to go, she was calling to “reschedule”. She didn’t.
