Mr Cherkaoui is truly a stand up professional. After finding myself in a legal quandary, I turned to him for legal counsel. I was dealt with compassion, understanding and patience. Mr Cherkaoui reassured me of my legal standing every step of the way and ensured I maintained my moral compass. I did not need a lawyer that just knew the law. I needed someone that knew how to apply the law and help me navigate the legal process.

It has taken me a very long time to write this review, but honestly Mehdi is the worst and most arrogant lawyer ever! You can see it from the way he talks to you and the way he answers his emails...if he does. His case evaluation is all an act to stuff his pockets. He will settle and take the majority of the settlement. Go find a real law firm with more than one lawyer that has real experience Not recommended at all.. I bet the "Good" reviews he has here are paid for and not real clients, and of course he will respond that he never had my case. Edit: I was a client of yours, and the way you answered the review shows your arrogance and condescending attitude! I highly suggest that you Google how to respond to bad Google reviews. There are a lot of material that's free online. If I have paid attention when I hired you that you graduated from TSU, I would have never asked you to be my lawyer.

A lot of these so called reviews look fake, especially seeing most are from a year or two years ago. Anyways, I gave Mr. Cherkaoui a call yesterday after checking out his website, and it stated that he gave a free consultation and that an attorney would call you back within an hour. The latter didn’t happen, I called his law office again today, and then he returned my phone call about an hour later. I guess since Mr. Cherkaoui has been practicing law for so long, he has forgotten that he is still offering a service that still requires some form of customer service. I find it very rude and a bit disrespectful to ask someone about their situation, only to keep interrupting them. Then turn around, and with an aggressive tone stating, “ you said this shop or this shop which one is it.” If he had’t kept interrupting me, and actually took the time to be patience and listen, like a decent lawyer would. He wouldn’t have gotten confused on what I was trying to tell him. The case I’m dealing with, the Individual has in fact made several DTPA violations and breach of contract. Mr. Cherkaoui got upset and felt that I got an aggressive tone. Nope not at all, I was talking to him in the same manner and tone that he was talking to me, while he kept interrupting. Funny thing is I wouldn’t have had a problem pay a retainer fee, but if that how he talks and treats people, that is not someone I would want representing me Mr. Cherkaoui you should probably add to your website, that you don’t take cases that you think are worth less than 10 thousand . Even when you don’t have all the facts, paperwork and evidence. He also told me he didn’t have to give me a free consultation, but yet he still stayed on the phone. Shouldn’t have that listed on your website either, if that how you treat and talk to people on a regular. You have been practicing law for so long, but yet you didn’t even know that the limit in small claims court is 10k in Texas. The whole experience was very distasteful and negative. I wouldn’t recommend. Updated Response: Nice attempt at a counter argument, you were rude and extremely unprofessional over the phone, and try to put all the facts not partial. I’ll stick to what I said these reviews you have are FAKE! Nope I didn’t lie at all, I simple stated MY PERSONAL experience with you. Stating that I think your reviews look fake or are probably fake is my opinion that I’m allowed to have. Just like you made your opinion without actually hearing the full case I had. You want to offer free consultation from your website, but then are rude over the phone. Like I also stated I wouldn’t have a problem paying a retainer fee, but with someone like you that is rude, and the most unprofessional lawyer I’ve ever spoken to. You don’t take the time or patience to listen to someone’s case, instead you just cut them off over and over and over again, just so you can get confuse .Because you don’t take the time to listen. I would not want someone like you representing me EVER! By the way I’ve actually have left good and negative reviews for places. Compared to several of your so called clients that have only left two reviews in total. You’re not a very good attorney I can tell, someone without a degree could easily out school you. What is that joke? I remember now ! How can you tell when a lawyer is about to lie? Their lips start moving. Nice try at being a good liar tho. You should work a little harder at it, you don’t even know how to respond to a negative review professionally, which just shows you lack professionalism and etiquettes. Just sad!
